  • Came here from reading Miriam Margolyes autobiography. Fun fact: She was contracted to work for 12 days on Deathly Hallows part 2 (surprising seeing as she had no lines and barely appears). However, she was let go after 9 days filming. Maggie smith later bumps into her and says “where were you today? You were in my scene today and I had no one to talk to!” (Obviously inferring that McGonagall and sprout were meant to be “chatting” together). Miriam tells Smith that her contract ended early, and Maggie, being with David Heyman the producer’s mother at the time, tells her to tell David to get Miriam back on set quickly because “I can’t keep talking to the air!”. Lol. Other fun fact. Margolyes was paid GPB60,000 for her two minutes in chamber of secrets. Imagine what the others got….
