How To Hydrate Succulent Plants Indoors?

Succulents are a beautiful and low-maintenance plant that require regular watering to ensure their growth. The best way to water them is by using the “soak and dry” method, which involves soaking the soil completely and letting it dry out before watering again. Succulents should be placed in well-draining soil in a pot with a drainage hole.

A general rule of thumb is to water when the soil feels dry a few inches deep into the pot or ground. Water deeply and generously, ensuring the soil is completely saturated. To avoid watering during winter months, select pots with drainage holes.

When watering, ensure to thoroughly soak the plant, allowing the water to penetrate the soil deeply. A long-neck water can is recommended to avoid watering. Leave the plant in the water for at least 30 minutes until the soil is completely saturated.

Succulents need more water in early spring when they start actively growing, but water needs may decrease in summer and winter. To water, it should be deep and thorough, completely saturating the soil. This can be achieved by keeping the soil as moist as a wrung-out sponge, watering about once a week in summer and once a month in winter.
