A vascular doctor is a healthcare provider who specializes in the care of the vascular system, which includes arteries, veins, and the tiny capillaries that connect them. Arteries carry oxygen and nutrients in your blood, while veins carry waste from tissues. Vascular disease (vasculopathy) affects the blood vessels that carry oxygen and nutrients throughout your body and remove waste from tissues. Common vascular problems occur due to plaque buildup.
Vascular surgery is a surgical subspecialty that treats conditions affecting blood vessels, including arteries and veins. A vascular doctor can diagnose and treat vascular problems, such as blocked or narrow blood vessels. They also treat the lymphatic system, a part of the immune system that maintains fluid balance.
Poor circulation can cause symptoms like tingling and muscle cramps, and doctors typically treat the underlying cause of poor circulation. A vascular specialist can diagnose circulatory issues and recommend treatment options.
A vascular surgeon is an expert in diseases of the circulatory system, focusing solely on the vascular system, which includes blood vessels. They treat blood vessels and the lymphatic system, which is part of the immune system that maintains fluid balance. While cardiovascular doctors focus on diseases of vessels within the heart, other vascular specialists treat arterial disorders in the rest of the body.
Vascular treatments for poor blood circulation may include a vascular doctor, a vascular specialist, or a combination of both. Most circulatory diseases cause dull, achy pain or cramping, while sharp or “electric” pains in the legs may need to be evaluated by an orthopedist or other medical professionals.
📹 How To FIX Blood Flow & Circulation! (Heart, Arteries, Legs & Feet)
We review the BEST 11 ways to improve blood flow, lymphedema, blood clots, arteriosclerosis, heart disease, and more!
What can a doctor do for poor circulation?
Poor circulation is a condition where the circulatory system, which delivers blood, oxygen, and nutrients to the body, is disrupted. It occurs when there are issues with the heart, veins, arteries, capillaries, and other blood vessels, causing them to fail to efficiently deliver oxygen and nutrients to cells. This can lead to detours and roadblocks, like a delivery driver encountering problems along the way. Obstacles in blood vessels make it difficult for blood to pass, especially when trying to reach the longest distances away from the heart, such as fingers and toes.
The main issue with poor circulation is that cells are not getting enough oxygen, which can lead to poor function. Treatment options include medication, surgery, or catheter-assisted thrombus removal.
What is a vascular doctor called?
Phlebologists, or vein doctors, are professionals in the field of phlebology, which focuses on diagnosing and treating vascular problems like spider veins, varicose veins, chronic venous insufficiency, and deep vein thrombosis. They can come from various medical fields and must complete written examinations and tests. The entry into phlebology is low, making it difficult for inexperienced vein doctors to treat vein conditions. To find a vein doctor, it is essential to find board-certified and fellowship-trained vascular surgeons.
The California Vein Treatment Center, led by highly skilled board-certified vein doctors, specializes in cutting-edge vein treatments and provides personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs. They focus on minimally invasive spider and varicose vein treatments that address the root cause of the problem, rather than superficial symptoms.
What diseases cause poor blood flow?
Diabetes, obesity, smoking, and a sedentary lifestyle are risk factors for peripheral vascular disease, which is the reduced circulation of blood to body parts other than the brain or heart due to narrowed or blocked blood vessels. Treatment may include procedures to widen the artery, medications to reduce fatty deposits within blood vessels, and lifestyle changes such as weight loss and regular exercise. Risk factors include diabetes, obesity, smoking, and a sedentary lifestyle.
Who to see if you have circulation issues?
Edema, a buildup of fluid in the arms and legs, is a common symptom of poor circulation. If left untreated, it can be managed with diuretics or water pills. However, underlying causes like kidney, liver, and lung diseases need to be diagnosed and managed by a doctor. Numbness and tingling are common symptoms of poor circulation, especially in the hands and feet. Raynaud’s phenomenon, a disease that limits blood supply, causes these areas to numb until blood starts to return. Cold hands and feet, especially in fingers and toes, may indicate a need for medical attention. Discolored hands and feet may also appear pale, blueish, or reddish in color.
What kind of doctor should I see for circulation problems?
A vascular doctor is a healthcare provider who diagnoses and treats issues affecting arteries and veins. They can perform various procedures or operations, even if surgery is not necessary for the problem. The vascular system includes arteries, veins, and the tiny capillaries that connect them. Arteries carry oxygen and nutrients in the blood, while veins return blood to the heart after cells have taken it and carry waste like carbon dioxide back. Blood then goes to the lungs, allowing for oxygen and carbon dioxide exchange. A vascular doctor is essential for maintaining a healthy vascular system.
Can blood flow be restored?
Thrombolysis is a therapeutic procedure whereby a physician administers a pharmaceutical agent to disintegrate thrombi in an artery, thereby restoring normal blood flow. The recuperation period may span several days, during which time the patient may require continued hospitalization to ensure the stability of the restored blood flow. Four state-of-the-art cardiac catheterization suites are available to facilitate the procedure.
What vitamin is best for blood circulation?
This blog post discusses the importance of vitamins and foods in improving circulation and vein health. Vitamin B deficiency can negatively impact health, including circulation. Potassium, a vital mineral for blood circulation, is essential. Vitamins C and E are also essential. Poor circulation can lead to venous disease and blood clots. To improve circulation, one can incorporate these nutrients into their diet through supplements or lifestyle changes. The top nutrients for improved circulation include B-complex vitamins, potassium (Vitamin K), vitamin C, and vitamin E.
How do you fix weak blood flow?
To maintain optimal health, it is essential to increase cardiovascular exercise, quit smoking, drink black or green tea, take iron supplements or eat iron-rich food, dry brush your body, reduce stress, include more omega-3 fatty acids in your diet, wear compression socks, and elevate your legs. Proper circulation is crucial for maintaining optimal health, as it ensures blood and oxygen flow throughout the body, aiding in wound healing, brain sharpening, heart health, and a natural flush of complexion.
Circulation can also affect the immune system, as certain blood cells carry by the bloodstream help fight infection. During the cold, flu, and COVID-19, maintaining proper circulation is especially important, but certain conditions can make it more challenging.
Which doctor to consult for poor blood circulation?
A vascular doctor is a healthcare provider who diagnoses and treats issues affecting arteries and veins. They can perform various procedures or operations, even if surgery is not necessary for the problem. The vascular system includes arteries, veins, and the tiny capillaries that connect them. Arteries carry oxygen and nutrients, while veins return blood to the heart after cells have taken it. They also carry waste like carbon dioxide back to the heart. Blood then goes to the lungs, allowing oxygen and carbon dioxide to be exchanged.
Why is my body not getting enough blood flow?
Poor circulation is a condition that can result from a number of factors, including obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and arterial issues. The most common symptoms include paraesthesia, numbness, a burning or stabbing pain in the extremities, as well as pain and muscle cramps. It is of the utmost importance to address the underlying causes in order to effectively manage the symptoms.
What are three symptoms of poor circulation in the body?
The circulatory system may manifest symptoms such as painful cramps, numbness, weakness, edema, varicose veins, fatigue, coldness, impaired cognitive function, a weakened immune system, alopecia, nail fragility, and altered bowel habits.
📹 1 Cup…Increases Blood Flow and Circulation in Legs & Feet!Dr. Mandell
Nitric oxide is a molecule that’s produced naturally by your body, and it’s important for better circulation and blood flow to your legs …
I came because i am young and was written to recieve surgery for vericose veins. I had crazy pain that stopped me from walking. I got pregnant and experienced huge swelling. I cut the suger. I stretched! Then i was able to walk longer. Over the summer i packed snacks and walked ALL DAY. I just met with the doctor from results of ultrasound pictures and i dont need surgery anymore! Now i plan to buy a small treadmill because i want to keep walking as much as possible!
I get more help from articles like this than Doctors in any ER or office. I was left to suffer for 5 years with a back plate out of place and they took multiple X rays and did absolutely nothing and looked at me like i was there for easy pain meds like some common addict. Ive been taking medication my entire life safe to say i hate meds of any kind. 2 winters ago i slipped on ice and fell on my back.. you guessed it an extremely loud pop and i was cured… Gravity and the mercy of god helped me more than human hands.. I also got these issues in this article and have been working with compression socks but i just added more to my arsenal the knowlage is greatly appreciated because if i were to go ask any local doctor id get a half assed explination and be told to take the med that gives the doctor the most money. Ive tripple checked this multiple times in my visits. Guys like this have helped me more than any local doctor. You are far better off long term getting information in places like this than any corrupted office.
Just to share my own story for those worried or wanting other advice. I had DVT at 26, doctors gave no cause, they said it wasn’t my gaming habits because I work a full time job. Drink water, do a a 10 minute walk every two hours, stretch your legs a little. Ive got a permanently swollen right leg which I wear a very strong compression sock for and i also take abixapan blood thinning tablets ( By choice) just to be extra safe. I nearly died my DVT was that bed, save yourselves the trouble and just do a little walking every few hours. Please.
Thank-you. I was diagnosed with idiopathic edema a at 17. I am 68 now and it has just gotten worse, especially when it is hot outside. I exercise, eat well, wear compression socks(now diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency). However, you had many very helpful tips and I am so grateful to have found this website.
I had my first blood clot at age 40. I was temporarily off work for a medical issue so set on the couch 🛋️ all day. The Dr. Theory is since my feet dangled instead of touching the floor he believes it cutoff circulation to my leg. I allowed it to be swollen 2 or 3 days before I went to the ER. When I got to the ER I said I’m not sure what the issue is but my leg is swollen and won’t go down. It did not hurt at all so keep that in mind they don’t always hurt. Anyway they freaked out nurses come running from everywhere. They are all this is very critical you lucky to be alive! After an ultrasound of my legs they said I had a foot long blood clot in my upper thigh. They gave me lovenox shots for a few weeks and that was it. Haven’t had another one since However I do walk at least 30 minutes a day most days and I also take a low dose aspirin to help prevent blood clots and heart attack since I have been diagnosed with coronary artery disease. Heart disease is common in my family unfortunately. So anytime your on a plane or sitting still a long time try to get up move around or even exercises while sitting such as stretching the legs can prevent blood clots. Protip anytime you suspect you have a clot or a heart attack you should immediately take an aspirin as you head to the hospital. I have seen this actually save peoples lives as it helps thin the blood while you wait.
An excellent presentation! I am 77 with lupus and osteoarthritis with both hips not good at all. I use a walker. Your article truly gave me encouragement. I now have orthopedic shoes and have made a big difference. I’m going to follow through with all your advice and do the best I can being on a fixed income. Excellent informative and thank you!
Part of my lean to is I have many herniated & protruded discs and a couple of them missing. Recently I’ve broken my ankles. Some of these things mentioned. I will work on. They are easy enough to do. Mtiple Sclerosis. I use the compression socks, knee pads, and compression gloves. Also stretch and exercise everyday. Take several vitamins everyday. Along with breathing treatments indoirs.Don’t smoke, drink. Busy everyday building, fixing, painting, art, writing books, playing music, and inspire others everyday best I can. Life is survival, but I like to pay it forward, everything I’ve learned 50 years.True.
Very informative, thank you. I am going to try everything you say. My legs and feet are weak and swollen from constantly sitting and sleeping in a recliner chair. Can’t lay in the bed because of 10 compression fractures in my back and retroperitoneal fibrosis. My medical history reads like a book. Can’t move around much because of back and foot pain. Anyway thanks, God bless
I have May-Thurner syndrome.. after having stent surgery it doesn’t seem like the flow to my left leg is any better.. still swells and hurts sometimes, so thank you for this! I’ll certainly try these! I can’t stand compression socks(because they hurt) but the good thing I haven’t had another DVT or PE since my surgery.😊

Love love LOVE this article. Not sure why it appeared as recommended but I watched it 3 times straight because the information is GREAT, SUPER GREAT!!! I don’t have any of those described but there were so many things that I benefited (learning) such as movement as opposed to sitting 3hrs straight (truly I don’t!!). It explains why I’m not deteriorating since I stand to wash dishes everyday at home. I will order products for my family and use the great information on this article to help my relatives. Subscribed & LIKED!!! Thanks and a blessing to you!!! 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Great advice, wish i had this sort of info 40 years ago when i started withback pain that has plagued me all my life. I kept it at bay with exercise but never got any of this sort of advice from my doctor the times i actually managed to get to see one, usually just prescribe pain killers. I am doing all this stuff now and it helps but the damage is done and though i can manage to keep things better i cannot reverse 40 years of wear and tear thats happened due to not getting it sorted sooner.
I have found compression socks made it worse and I have Chronic Fatigue Syndrome I had a broken ankle which the bone is healed but torn ligaments and muscles and tendons Sooo cannot walk … much… just around the house The calf raises sound good… I am a writer… so sit at the computer allot Push the feet up sounds good Thanks for the easy ideas… that is what I need
Thank you for the great info! I have bulging vein at my left knee bend inside. Had knee surgery in 2005, in 2018 I was diagnosed with severe ulcerative colitis with complications, high doses of steroids, malabsorbtion, deficiencies, anaemia, lost lot of weight (I was fit mostly of my life, so I looked like anorexic)etc. I do have some spider veins as well. I eat healthy, WFPB diet, IBD-AID, I’m pretty active but I don’t exercise as I did my whole life before UC diagnosis. I have to avoid anything with NSAID, ibuprofen, aspirin as all these causes or worsens my UC. I also do know people who are very fit and healthy, lean myscles and still have varicose veins. What about those people?
Compression socks are not made to fit large calves. I can’t find goid compression socks – I have spent 100s of dollars only to get home and find out that the xxLarge size are impossible to get on. Any suggestions? And Mercury? Incorporated into the sock? Or is it a brand name? Sorry, I just want to understand. There is no such thing as a stupid question – it’s stupid not to ask for clarification! Great article – this has been on my mind! I am in my late 60s and needed to see this! These tips will definitely help!
I have spider veins, and varicose veins only in one leg. The foot on that leg has numbness in the toes and partially on the fall of the foot. I had a scan on my legs and they couldn’t find anything wrong. What do you think it is? Compression even from regular socks makes the numbness even worse. I do not have swelling.
Excellent and very helpful article. I am using a rebounder, which seems to help with edema IF I bounce for 5 mins a day minumum, but I sit far, far, far too much. Gforce in bouncing is supposed to do things. Also rowing machine, but not enough. Thank you, very good info, I’m in Canada so idk if I can visit, but I might. I have edema and toenail fungus.
Yes true. My problem, was my ankle sat on it but I had quit doing it why got little swollen. Going on tip toes up and down on the wall 4 times a day I take joint food vitamin, omega 3, d3, magnesium, other stuff i don’t take meds. But I do some other exercises small bike machine, level the leg and stretch the end of toes with feet. Sticking to food that helps. Taking cool showers, use ice pack and socks that circulate but wear barefoot for a while. use cloth bandage wrap around ankle and knee if needed. Good shoes with soles get outside in the shade level the legs on chair. I have seen some nice results it takes bit of time in few weeks but as long you do the work.
Hello Dr. Thank you for all help you give us. Your wonderful. I’m 85, had Diabetes, since I was 70. It affected my Eyes & Kidneys. So many problems. I was so healthy till I turned 70, then all HELL broke. My question is, I have a almost HAMMER toe. Is there anything I can do about it? It took toe right next to my pinkie toe, & I’m worried that Drs may amputate it. Please, can you give me some help. Thank you So Much. 💯🥰🏴🇨🇦
I’ve been extremely exhausted again but manage to pull myself out of exhaust8on by cardio excercise and strength training daily one day focus on upper extremities and alternate towards my mid & lower section. I have to admit I? a little bit stronger but after I’m done within half hour I’m back to bearly move a muscle again, why is this!
I had a double Artery by pass in my right leg . Unfortunately my body rejected the foreign implants. It’s now 2 years now and the consultants signed me off without any input. I get pain in my calf due to lack of oxygen so I can only walk for 1 k. I’m on blood thinners. Would you advice me to wear compression stockings and if so what type
I went to a vein specialist and they want to inject foam – Varithena into my leg below my knee and have one in my inner thigh. I have no swelling, or any major problems just a very faint pain that comes and goes on my shin. After doing an ultrasound, they said my vein width was an 11 and normal is a 3. After reading about using the drug there is always a risk but I know minimal. It just makes me nervous doing this procedure. Could I hold off on the procedure and start exercising and use compression and all the items you suggested? Could this improve the blood flow or maybe reverse the situation or is the procedure a must?
About four years ago, I went down to mexico. On the third day of arriving, I developed the rash and swollen legs. I thought maybe I brushed up against some shrub. So I went to the hospital and I spoke to a doctor in the emergency room. We use google Translate for an hour. Because I had so many questions to ask. He wrote me out a prescription, and of course, it was in Spanish and. Of course I did not understand. He said I could use it on the way back on the plane. When I get back into Canada? I went to my pharmacy and he looked it up. And he had the same stuff in the pharmacy. It was the ingredient data set the use in hemorrhoids. I told him I don’t suffer from hemorrhoids. He says for whatever is in here is the same stuff. And it works by improving your circulation.. One of the ingredients for sure was -flabanoids and vitamin C. Evidence presented includes their potential to reduce blood pressure in hypertensive individuals, as well as increasing peripheral blood perfusion and promoting CBF in both healthy and at-risk populations.
I have been weight-training (body-building) since I was 17 years old. And I am 44 now. It was the best decision of my life. I also do a lot of gaming when I am not working out on projects outside, but I always make sure to do stretches as often as possible. For massaging, NOTHING beats a tennis ball and your entire body weight forced onto a hard surface, to work out hip and back knots. I fell from a 30 foot telephone pole in the Military, pushing my right hip up by a few inches. I constantly get knots if I do not stay on top of my physio and tennis ball massages. It’s cheap, but EXTREMELY effective. Exercise is a LIFE-LONG commitment. Once you stop moving, you can consider your life to be almost done. There are 70-90 year old people who are in better shape than the majority of today’s 20 year old Humans. Health & Longevity is a great website to watch here on YouTube. Great article!
My question is, how do you get avascular necrosis in your ankle, when you work on your feet 6-8 hrs a day/ 5 days a week, then work out (walking and strength training) 4 days a week, but you play article games to unwind everyday for 3hrs??? How is there a lack of circulation when I’m exercising and on my feet for a majority of my time. And also very in shape. How is there a lack of blood flow to my ankles? Don’t they want to rest? Or is it because I’m standing too much?
I have shattered ankles. This happened when I was 19 I am 61 now. I have to take pain pills everyday. Due to the fact that my Ankles set inwards. I wear the compression socks. They help but they still swell even With that My doctor told me that fusing it together. Would not be a good idea for replacing it wouldn’t be either. Dude, to the all the authorities in there. Now I have to go back to where embraces like the movie Tom Hanks played in. Is there something that you can recommend to help me? It would be appreciated.
This man says everything correctly. I have been living such way and changed almost everything in my life. I gained a lot, but only lost weight. It is easy to move, sleep, drink natural, to take sunbathes, to refused out of bullshit food, including everything cooked with wheat flour or any kind of sugar. There are a lot of vegetables, meat, turkeys, chickens, organic unprocessed hard grains. Internet, time desire help to find everything you want. I quit sugar and wheat and have 1-1,5 hours of exercises 1-3times a week inside my home. I don’t visit any gym. I just run, jump, dance, pump up, make abc, ride by bicycle and so. It is enough. There is no fckg belly now even after several surgeries on it. I lost 20kg by 3months 2years ago and I still fit)! If you need any advice or support, feel free to ask
Im really having a huge problem and I don’t know what to do… I fell asleep sitting up Indian style and when I woke up hour later I couldn’t walk. This was yesterday, Im foot is still ok numb in the bloom plus toes. They feel like they are swollen to capacity and I can’t move them. But they r not swollen. I can barely walk for 2 days now. I tried ice, heat, massage, moving my ankle, toes etc. im out working like this but can barely walk. Any ideas?
My legs only swell if I wear compression socks(or any socks except ankle socks actually), but it only happend in the summer. I can wear socks in the winter and I’m fine. I do bout 1hr+ of walking everyday till it’s icy. On previous injury front. The only really annoying issue is the swelling on my rioght leg that’s been there for 16yrs. I went to the doctor when it 1st happened and we did an ultra sound and they never got back to me, even when I reminded them. Shortly after that I moved and haven’t had a Family Doctor since. It looks like it was/is a torn calf muscl which now has a permanent bruise on it. It almost never hurts unless I go for a really long hike at which point it aches a bit and swells but then goes back to normal in a few weeks.
I am not obese, no doctor can explain why my legs below the knees are cold and has a mild tingling feeling…and no hair grows anymore. I walk at least 2 miles 2-3 times a week and I do strength training🤷🏾♀️I’m sick of trying different doctors to hear “there’s no diagnosis”🫤here’s some gabapentin or muscle relaxers…NO THANK YOU!
How do you measure your ph balance? 04:09 Pushing on my feet, as exercise is too much at this early stage, is what I’m gonna start with. I’m only 45 but I’ve been in bed depressed as I lost my job during covid, so it’s been 2 years of only getting out of bed to shower and use the toilet. It’s mainly my perenium area that feel locked up and I have really painful varicose veins, which are rbasically on both sides of my balls, not on them, but on the underside of my torso at the top of my inner thighs, under my torso. I seem to be tensing up without realising all day long. I try to relax but then realise I’m tensing up again without realising. It’s been affecting me since I can remember, as far back as agedb16, so I’ve just lived with it, but it’s gotten worse since I’ve been lying on my side all day, every day for the past couple of years. Any advice is desperately welcome and truly thankful.

Crazy issue i had is that im active, always walking bending, going up and down stairs etc. I own a painting company, but i have bad varicose veins in my feet and some on my legs. Im 42 years old, ive always been active, i played baseball my until i was 21 then softball until in was 33. One day i could barely walk up the stairs at a job, and i did not know what was wrong with me, but i was so out of breath. Went to the doctor because an area on leg hurt a bit which had a lump, and my other leg was swelling up a bit during the day.. turns out my hemoglobin was at 6, and they believed my lump was a varicose vein clot. Got a blood transfusion, and they also discovered a hiatal hernia that was bleeding. My question is why the clot in my leg and the other leg swelling? Any answers would be helpful. Thanks
I weigh 70lbs and am so weak can barely stand up, so walking is out, I use an exercise bike, but my feet look like tug boats, and it’s starting to spread up my calves. : they’re almost bigger than my thighs ! Leg elevation and compression socks did nothing, and circulation supplements don’t work either
Quick question… If someone could help me … I all of a sudden have a tightening in my left posterior leg right behind the knee… It feels like the skin is super taut …. It’s very uncomfortable, if not.. almost painful. I do have one large protruding vein there. I’m about twenty lbs over weight. I don’t have a GP so any help is appreciated ! I get debilitating migraines that completely impairs me from any movement…they can last up to 60 hrs, where i cant eat, drink or use the washroom let alone move my legs…and inswear this is why i have a faulty circulatory system. When im not sick i walk 100 percrnt (dont drive at all) and my job, massage therapist, is constantly moving. Dont smoke or drink, never ever ever….but i do have an issue with sugar I also carry very heavy bags and many layers lol.
i used to ” fidget” at my desk at school. it was frowned upon. but this is EXACTLY what my body was doing. Naturally making the blood flow. Those unhealthy, terrible, hard seats at school. ARE NOT HEALTHY FOR KIDS TO BE SITTING ON FOR HOURS! creating damaged blood vessels ! kids need to be active and up and about for MOST OF THE TIME. not just a little of the time.

Need help! The left side of my body is bigger than my right side. My left side is different and bigger the very top of my head down to my ankles…that literally includes my hair!! Im right handed yet my left side is stronger with most exercises i attempt! Let me say this, when i say my leftside is bigger its not in a good way. i dont even leave the house now because it looks so odd to me! My left pec or chest is really big. I know people will say go to the doctor! I have psychological issues as well . I cant focus, concentrate, my memory is not good lately and i definitely have times where i dont even know what the hell im doing! I havent been to a doctor in ages. I dont have anyone to help. I have terrble crippling social anxiety. So if anyone has an easy first step suggestion or if you know what i have itd be appreciated. UGH
My personal experience with a blood clot in the lower calf of the left leg: At the time of the clot my work had me walking from 2 to 5 miles per day, that’s 4000 to 10000 steps pushing and pulling hundreds of pounds of product around. And yet I had a clot. So your assumption of the cause of the clot does not hold water.

The “Free” article is a ditaribe which forces you to sit in front of the computer for what seems like days, describing every test and failed therapy everyone ever tried to cure sciatica ! I would prefer to make my own back pain go away by having a bus run over me in a crosswalk !:face-purple-crying::face-orange-frowning:
On this Monday I was going out of my house to meet my nana and on the 3rd floor I slipped on the staircase and then I got so much hurt it because full green green and I couldn’t walk and sit any how my mother made me sit and I started crying . That day my mother gave me hot water heater bag next day night my mother put termeric on my pain that to hot hot and then I rubbed ice on my pain and I felt little relax and then I did hot water sake and my brother bought the bandage it comes in gret colour and doughts are been there on that that I applied on the pain and left . I did not took bath because i couldn’t walk or sit properly it was uncomfortable for me to sit and walk but from yesterday evening I tried to walk and sit properly and today morning I could go to washroom and sit and do . Evening I went to take bath and put so mang mug of hot water on that pain and it got little bit cure but my bond is paining why. I feel like someone is putting shock on me like that pain iam feeling so now what should I do . I can walk properly at home and I couldn’t sleep properly because of the pain so what’s the solution how should I make it cure in one day because Saturday Sunday I have to go to my nani house for ganpati decoration finishing touch so how should I cure my pain at home without exercise because my legs can’t move here and there. I did not go anywhere from 2 days so now I am bored by sitting at home in one place and then to in one poster iam sitting and sleeping and iam irritate by that pain so give me a solution of getting rid from that pain
I must caution that if you are sensitive to oxalates, be very careful how much beet juice or beets you consume. I tried the beet juice for a few days and had beets as a side dish and was in utter agony with joint pain. I wouldn’t wish that pain on my worst enemy. No beet juice or beets, and in another day the pain subsided. I did some research and discovered oxalates were my problem. Ingredients: One cup of beetroot juice 1–2 tablespoons of lemon juice 1 half to 1 teaspoon raw honey (use natural sweetener if needed) Combine all ingredients in a blender and pour elixir in a glass to allow any foam to settle. Drink it slowly. There’s no specific time needed to drink it — it can be drunk before, during, or after meals, morning or night.
I will never give up on God. My parent is bedridden with dementia, and we have chosen to keep them at home instead of in a nursing facility. I am thankful to be able to tend to them. They say few words now, but every word is precious, whether understood or not, because it shows that God is still at work.
Dr. Mandel my husband is 71yrs old, but looks young for his age. He had poor blood flow. So i followed your advise for a month. He saw the vascular surgeon and the doppler sounded so loud this is how clear and improved is his blood flow. Thankd a million times for this informative article. Really appreciate your knowledge. Take care from Cape Town, South Africa ❤❤❤❤❤❤🎉
Sorry this is so long – I’ve done this for a few years now, on the advice of my own doctor. I have never blended it though, I will try that next time I drink it. I don’t drink it daily anymore because now it feels like it’s “too much”, so I drink a 1/2 cup of this twice a month. The first year was pretty much daily or every other day. Now I can beetroot juice (when beets are in season) so it lasts up to 8-12 months and I have it available when I want it. I’ve also learned to can lemon slices IN honey, in a quart canning jar, so I have lemon honey nectar ready and just add a couple slices lemon and one teaspoon of the honey nectar to beetroot juice. Goodness that makes wonderful difference!! (one or two washed lemons – peel and all, sliced thin to medium, put in canning jar, fill to top with raw honey, must keep in fridge and let sit overnight before using – makes a great cup of tea without beetroot too). I just ran across this article and I have to say, He is telling the truth, it works. It took a few weeks for me to notice any changes in my legs and feet when I first started this, but after that, I could feel a remarkable difference. I am disabled so full on exercise is something I can’t do – but I can stand and “march” to music, moving my arms and hands as if I were walking fast in a parade for 10 minutes 3 times a day. I’m 64 next month and I feel 45, and not just mentally. My body feels younger, lighter and healthier. Trust Doctor Mandell, he is genuinely helping and being honest.
I appreciate the helpful information. I shall be 90 yrs old next week, and I’ve been a vegetarian since 1963 and I have never picked up the habits of smoking, or drinking alcohol. When I was working, as an RN, on the night shift, I noticed my weight going up until I weighed over 220 lbs. I changed my eating habits to eating breakfast like a king; lunch like a prince and supper like a pauper, and I currently weigh 150 lbs. I exercise using a bike and use weights. I do some walking, as well, and that also helps. God bless you, sir, for doing the best by helping us to be in better health.
I’m So Glad Someone hear this and shared!! I have been dealing with Excruciating Pain in My Feet, I have had MRIs and still in pain for little over 2 Years,. Doctors couldn’t get it right., a lot of Money spent. But, after juicing and doing as @Dr. Mandell said I Can Feel a Difference, Not Much pain and I’m walking BETTER. To GOD BE ALL THE GLORY. Thanks Dr. Mandell 💚💚💚
3 years ago I had a large portion of my inner left thigh removed due to an infection. The doctor told me I would have to walk as much as possible to keep the blood flowing. I have worked most of my life on my feet but it took several months to get back to work. Even though it hurts sometimes I still walk as much as I can because I know it is keeping the blood flowing. I also elevate my legs at night to avoid any fluid build up in that leg. My doctor said I’m lucky to be alive and I have learned to appreciate every day 🙏.
First i thought that eric berg is number one doctor bcz he help me with my stomach issues but when i saw your knee excersize now i just love you and definitely you are number one doctor, thanks from the high mountains of pakistan near a boarder with afghanistan, you are just great, forgive me for my weak english bcz i am not english speaking guy❤❤❤
Yes, beetroot juice improves circulation and blood flow. I like to make a juice consisting of 1 whole beet, 3-4 carrots, and a green apple. I use my old Jack Lalane juicer and juice them into one super drink. I will squeeze some lemon at the end for a very tasty and healthy drink. I don’t add the honey because the juice is already sweet enough. Beetroot is also great for people suffering from anemia.
Thank you so much Dr Mandell. I was diagnosed with Heart Failure 2 months ago and started using Beet Root Powder, exercising, losing a few pounds (lot of pain in my legs). Some days aren’t too great but I try snd walk everyday and exercise. I’m praying it might prolong my life a bit. Thank you for all that you have helped me with over the past few years. God bless you richly.🙏🙏👍❤️🇺🇸

I’m 48 and was in active addiction for nearly 30 years and beginning to notice symptoms of poor circulation in legs especially if I need to run or walk long distance I’m very inactive and this obviously isn’t good at all I’ve broke uncountable promises about exercise and at the same time worrying because I know if I don’t it’s gonna get more painful and less chance of me being even capable of any kind of exercise I’m new to this website so I’m telling myself I’m committed and the benefits will show with some time and effort thanks 🙏🏻
Dr. Mandel I am an 85 year man and I got onto your beet root program three months ago along with your various foot exercises. The program has helped tremendously and even my balance has improved. I have one bad knee so long distance walking like before is out, but 4 sets of 25 pushups every other day helps my heart. The benefits of your program I believe help my love life with my wife of 20 years who is forty years younger than I am. I thank you for your beneficial advice.
Got my organic beets today, and set for the next 10 days. I just made my juice and ready to drink my beets as soon as it settles. May God Bless you Dr. Mandel 🙏❤️🙏 and thank you so much for this recipe. I’ve been struggling with neuropathy on my toes for a while and I’m praying this will work and help me.
Dr Mandel is such a jewel. He’s always helping us with different things we may be going through different problems there’s always something natural for every situation and he never leave you on for hours and then try to sell your product at the end that’s what I like about Dr.Mandel.God bless him and his family.
You Doctor are amazing. Iove the gift God has given you and how you use your gift. My niece is a Doctor and I respect your knowledge. I try everything you put on YouTube. From the tapping to the oregano to olive oil. You have changed my life. May you continue to caress the Lord and continue to letting God lead you. God Bless You.
Good morning My husband has a blood clot in his right leg. He has been on Eliquis for some years now. The side affects are bad and I do not see any changes. I’m going to make this juice. I will let you know when I see improvements. Thanks I needed this. I pray that you have the best of health to continue giving us these vital and life changing information.
Thank you so much for this insightful information. Understanding the role of nitric oxide and the impact of beetroot juice on circulation and cardiovascular health is incredibly valuable. I really appreciate you taking the time to explain these benefits in detail. Your expertise and guidance are truly appreciated!
Dear Dr. Mandell, I am writing to express my genuine gratitude for all that I have learned from you. Your generous sharing has made a tremendous difference in my daily habits and eating patterns. With every article, I feel more informed and motivated to live a hearlthier life. May you be blessed. I appreciate you to no end. Thank you profusely.
This health store years ago had a juice bar and they served a juice made in an extractor, the recipe was: Celery Carrots Beets and Cucumber- back in 1971 in West New York NJ- I always wonder if I had that juice everyday- just half a cup- would I have been much healthier? I believe it would have made a world of difference. You can freeze this juice in ice cube trays, pop out and put in a container or a plastic bag and have it made for the entire week. Just defrost one or two cubes a day, be careful with a sugar spike, have it with food
I would like to say I really enjoyed your article and I’m going to try it as soon as possible because I do suffer with poor circulation is a matter of fact I’ve had surgery because of it I’ve been diabetic for over 40 y and the thing that I really like is that you come right out and tell people what they can do instead of trying to sell a book and have a 10 year article I really appreciate it appreciate you thank you
Dr. Mandel thank You for sharing with us the most crucial- funcional information and wisdom to improving all aspects of our lives❤❤I have been blessed to perusal, implementing and improving my life by your support and guidance ❤❤❤❤ My grandparents in Poland, lived close to 100s, eating red beets as part of their regular diet ❤ . Think back to my grandparents lifestyle, without the scientific knowledge that you are sharing with us, I’m realizing that so many of your researched topics were part of my grandparents longevity ❤❤❤
Dr. Mandell…this sounds good for my husband. He is in the hospital now for Pulmonary Embolism, clots began in his ankle from a sprain, then up his leg, traveled to his lungs. He had TPA shot now we have to see if it is working. His temp, sugar both keep rising. But when he gets home I will make this for him. Any suggestions appreciated!❤
Thank you good Dr. Love your expert advice! I plan to make this soon! I have a jar of beets in the refrigerator in fact. It’s hard to swallow on it’s own but I love honey and use lemons regularly in my water. Love the articles you have your Mom in too! ❤ You’re a good son too honoring your Mom. Adonai bless you both .Thank you for giving us good advice for health and wellness. ❤ Shabbat Shalom
I hike 2 or 3 times a week, hiking up to mountain tops for 2 -5 hrs then back down. Been doing it for 50 yrs. I still get cold feet, so does my hiking partner. She exercises even more than me, so don’t expect too much change just from exercise. My muscles are squeezing my blood vessels for hours on end. More than most ppl can even comprehend doing. Lots more of us who live near beautiful mountains like the Rockies do this, too.
I love beetroot boiled then grated with one clove of raw garlic and added to natural yoghurt with salt to taste, a hint of black pepper and fresh mint shredded or dried mint crushed and added to give it a fresh flavour. Please let me know if this is good too as I have circulation problems and I can increase my intake of this as its delicious
Hi Dr. Mandell, I have wanted to drink beet juice for a long time but I have fatty liver and I was told that drinking beet juice would dye my liver and make it hard to to see when checking the condition of the liver. How can I take advantage of this drink and still be able to manage fatty liver? Thank you ❤ I have watched your articles for a long time and just recently realized I had not subscribed, I couldn’t believe it so I did right away!! I love your articles because you are always so encouraging, straight forward and easy to understand!! Thank you for what you do ❤❤
Thank you Dr. Mandell. I have started having a drink daily with dark Beet powder adding wild blueberries+ red grapes but i never thought of beet juice with lemon & honey. I’m going to have this now as i truly need it. Thank you very much. And btw, this would be an excellent Nitric Oxide drink isn’t it? ❤️
Thanks Dr Madel, I made the other health drink, which was chai seeds, lemon, cinnamon, and water. Not only does it taste nice, i feel generally more healthy. Just making a list for the beetroot health drink now for healthy circulation and I do pass onto family members…Thank you again Dr. Mandel for sharing all the amazing information that GP,s and hospital Doctors dont know about. I have always preferred to use natural products to chemicals. The chemical meds can come with side effects and GPs prescribe another drug to counteract the side effects etc and I’m sure you know this already…I prefer to down the natural root. Always worked for me…Thank you from the bottom of my hear Dr. Mandell. I love reading all your clips….
When standing at my sinks for brushing teeth and wiping my face with a wash cloth, and washing dishes, I exercise my legs by rocking up and down, back & forth on my feet, an exercise that my physical therapist also taught me to do for my right knee pain. It really helps my calf muscles to get needed exercise.
Thank you for this information Dr Mandell. Can you touch on spider veins? In My mid-30s now and they started appearing for me 15-20 years ago. If I spend a day on my feet, the areas where they are concentrated tend to bother me… Not muscle pain, but more of a discomfort that is hard to describe… Warm to the touch etc. Would love to know if there is anything natural I can do. I tried scleropathy years ago but did not work. Thank you.
I am 5’5, 105 lbs and 39 yrs old. I don’t drink and I have never smoked anything, not even a cigarette. Ever since having Covid in July of 2020, my body has never been the same. My circulation is absolutely terrible, my blood pressure is usually way too low, my spider veins went from bad to worse and I am freezing cold all the time unless the temperature goes above 80 degrees. It’s like I have no ability to generate any body heat at all and it’s all very frustrating. I just wanted to share because these ailments happen to skinny people too. I think that damn spike protein did a number on our bodies and I notice everyone appears to be aging much more rapidly since 2020. I would love to know if anyone else got any of these symptoms after Covid or the shots (I did not have any shots FYI).
My lymphedema in my right leg is horrible and gross! From 1/2 my shin down to my toes it looks like cauliflower with deep creases around my ankles and toes. My left leg has now gotten about 20 bumps that look like dime size volcanos without liquid coming out. I’m on Dr.’s care for the last 3 years without any improvement (diuretic only). Dr. Mandell, I’m going to start your drink right away and following the rest of your advice. Thank You!
Thsnk you, God Bless you ive notice Pain my feet been feeling weak when I get up to walk… I hate those commercials who say here’s what you can do, but you have to watch research they found for you to buy it’s always makes me mad every thang is always for sell. May Jesus keep Blessing you for helping without cost to sell.❤❤❤ Just want to know what is beet root.
Thank you so much. I have poor circulation in my feet, very cold toes n wear socks around the house. Don’t like standing in cold water etc. Beetroot is not my fave food. It does not grow in the Solomon Isles but it’s sold in the shops and eaten by expatriates who are aware of its healing properties. I will try and buy tinned beetroot and hopefully grow to LOVE it cos I am tired of my cold feet plus associated cramping. Thanks.
Normally, i would skip this, when came up as an ad. But, after perusal and actually listening, i am going to start this. Will have to wait till after a planned surgery that is in a few days. After i get home, i will definitely start. ANYTHING to help prevent any more surgeries, i will do. I will learn to like the taste of beets. LOL
Dr.I truly love every article you put out . I do have a question if you don’t mind.😊 What effect does high blood pressure medication have on our health, and what can we do to counter act the damage. I was told once you get on you can’t get off. Is that true. A article about it would be great. Thank you for your content.❤❤
I’d like more information on how to make or buy beetroot juice. Can you add a couple pieces of beets to a blender? Do you need to cook them first? Should you run them through a juicer raw? That would be a lot of trouble. I’d like to find out the quickest and easiest way to get what he is calling beetroot juice.
Dr Mandel I have a good diet etc I suffer from peripheral neuropathy and the pain and circulation is becoming worse every day not fluid retention and also no blood pressure I am takin beet supplements. I am going to try your recipe but lately the beets don’t settle good on my stomach but is not just my feet my glutes has become numb too and I am sure is the circulation and also problems with chronic dehydration a messed
