Three Weeks Of Water Diet?

Water fasting is a method of abstaining from eating food while drinking water regularly, typically lasting 24 to 72 hours. It can be beneficial for weight loss, immune system regeneration, and slow aging. However, it is not safe or appropriate for everyone, especially those who are underweight, have heart conditions, or have issues with their heart.

A 21-day water fast is an extended period of abstaining from food for physical, emotional, and spiritual benefits. Careful preparation and proper fasting are essential for the process to be safe and effective. The first stage of water fasting takes about 12 hours, as the body still has available calories/fuel from previous fasts.

For those who can eat a normal diet one day and stay away from food the next, a water fast may be possible without any food. However, it is not recommended to water fast for longer than this without medical supervision due to health risks.

Eating well before the fast, with high-energy foods, and choosing a time that allows for rest are key tips for water fasting. Drinking at least 2 to 3 liters of water daily, preferably mineralized water, is crucial to stay hydrated and replenish electrolytes.

Addis Miller from Costa Rica recently went viral for his unusual method of losing weight in 21 days by trying water fasting. However, it is important to note that water fasting can be harmful to our bodies, and it is essential to follow a healthy lifestyle and avoid excessive drinking.

How to lose water weight in 3 weeks?

Water weight, or edema, is a build-up of fluid in the body, often caused by dietary changes, exercise, potassium intake, salt management, magnesium supplements, dandelion, certain foods and herbs, carb reduction, and caffeine consumption. The human body contains around 60 water molecules, which play a crucial role in all aspects of life. Weight fluctuations may occur due to water retention, but these are usually temporary and harmless.

Can a human survive 30 days with only water?

Life expectancy depends on individual differences and circumstances, such as hunger strikes and serious medical conditions. With no food and water, the maximum survival time is about one week, while with water only, survival time may extend up to 2 to 3 months. Over time, severely restricted food intake can reduce lifespan. Underweight individuals, with a BMI below 18. 5, are associated with malnutrition and various health conditions that can lower life expectancy, including reduced immune system function, digestive conditions, and cancer.

How much weight can I lose in 1 week by drinking hot water?

Drinking hot water before meals can help regulate appetite and help lose weight. However, the only way to lose weight is to be in a calorie deficit, burn more calories than consumed, and make lifestyle changes that may hinder weight management. The best time to drink hot water for weight loss is early in the morning or 30 minutes before meals. Diet is crucial for diabetes and weight management, but it is difficult to nail due to misconceptions and misinformation. It is essential to incorporate a balanced diet into your health journey to achieve weight loss.

How many kg can I lose in 3 weeks?

Healthy weight loss involves a gradual reduction in calorie intake or an increase in activity levels equivalent to 500-600kcal a day, potentially leading to a weekly weight loss of around 0. 5kg (1lb). This method is effective for the first few months, but hormonal changes may halt further loss. The theory of ‘calories in and calories out’ is an oversimplification of the body’s energy use, with other factors such as food type, preparation, basal metabolic rate, and gut bacteria playing a role. If weight loss plateaus, it’s likely that more activity is needed, as optimum weight loss is achieved when calorie restriction is combined with moderate activity.

Do you still poop on a liquid diet?

On a full liquid diet, frequent, loose stools may occur due to not consuming solids. However, as you return to a solid food diet, bowel movements should improve. Weight loss on a liquid diet can occur if you don’t consume enough calories, typically 1, 350 to 1, 500 calories and 45 grams of protein daily. Weight loss may be sudden and significant, even if you’ve been on the diet for a long time. Consult your healthcare provider about high-calorie protein shakes like Ensure.

How to lose 10 kgs in 3 weeks?

Losing 10 kg in a month is a significant goal for many overweight and obese individuals. To achieve this, it is essential to combine various methods such as exercise and diet. Here are 10 ways to help you lose weight quickly and with less adverse health effects:

  1. Calorie counting: Calorie is a measure of the energy the body absorbs and expends in daily activities. It helps reduce excess energy storage and improves weight by ensuring that the energy supplied is less than or equal to the energy expended.

  2. Drinking enough water: Water is an important component that makes up 70% of our body, and drinking enough water can help reduce appetite and increase metabolism. Studies have shown that drinking 500 ml of water before meals can increase efficiency by 30-30% compared to without drinking water regularly. Additionally, 500 ml of water before meals can reduce the body’s calorie needs by up to 13 compared to the original intake.

  3. Drinking enough water: Doctors recommend drinking 1. 5 to 2 liters of water per day to support weight loss, blood circulation, and prevent constipation.

  4. Adjusting protein content: Adjust the protein content of each serving, limit carbs in the body, do exercises to burn fat, add more fiber in each meal, create a scientific sleep schedule, and stay consistent in your weight loss plan even during difficult stages.

In summary, combining exercise, diet, and drinking water can help you lose weight quickly and with less adverse health effects. By focusing on these strategies, you can achieve a healthier and faster weight loss journey.

How much weight can you lose in 3 weeks on a liquid diet?

Liquid diets are a popular method for weight loss, as they involve reducing the number of calories in your diet. These diets typically start with 400 to 800 calories a day, and replacing meals with high protein shakes to eliminate excess calories and fat. This can lead to weight loss of three to four pounds a week. However, the liquid diet may not be suitable for everyone, and the more overweight you are, the more weight you can expect to lose.

One downside of liquid diets is the slim chance of long-term weight loss. The drastic reduction of calories slows your metabolism, forcing your body into starvation mode. When you stop the liquid diet and return to normal eating, you can expect to regain all your lost weight. In fact, 95% of people who lose weight with a liquid diet can expect to regain it.

Can you go 40 days with only water?

The results of recent studies indicate that fasting for 40 consecutive days and consuming only water can have adverse effects on the body, despite the potential for weight loss. The drugs Ozempic and Wegovy have been demonstrated to be unsafe for individuals with diabetes and obesity. The recent cardiac arrest of Buffalo Bills player Damar Hamlin serves as a stark example of the potential risks associated with these medications.

Can you lose weight if you only drink water for 3 weeks?

Water fasting can be a beneficial method for weight loss, but it can also lead to unhealthy weight loss. Studies suggest that drinking water can lead to a 0. 9 kg daily weight loss, but this is primarily due to water, carbs, and muscle mass, not fat. Additionally, water fasting can cause dehydration, as 20-30% of daily water intake comes from food. Symptoms of dehydration may include dizziness, nausea, headache, constipation, and low blood pressure. To avoid dehydration, it may be necessary to drink more water than usual.

  • I don’t do this diet but can attest to it. My friend’s mom was 290 lbs I showed her this diet and left it up to her to do it. She decided to and lost 28 pounds in a the first month, and 30 pounds the second. After the second month it was between 17-24 pounds. Today she’s 130 pounds lean and in the best shape of her life. Reversed her high blood pressure and diabetes. Like you I do like to eat waaaay too much for this diet but I do intermittent fasting daily tho and have for the last three years. I eat 6 hours out of the day and fast the other 18. Not to lose weight but overall benefits and I feel absolutely amazing.

  • Down 6.4 lbs in three days, I’m super emotional and crying a lot (I’m also detoxing from weed). My goal is to drop 106 lbs & I appreciate the tough love. He’s not for the faint of heart lol, but it’s the kind of coaching I appreciate a lot & I wish more people had this kind of approach. No bs, but you can tell he’s so passionate because he cares and it’s simple

  • The “experts” telling you to lose max 2lbs a week never coached someone obese into lean. They coach people who need to lose a simple 30-15lbs, which arguably u can do on your own anyways. Those coaches aren’t realistic thinking a person who has 50-100lbs to lose to literally spend years nonstop slowly chipping away the fat.

  • Day 12 of snake diet. Ive been doing 48hrs fasts and one 72hr fast. Started at 271lbs today im at 252 (-19lbs).. when I eat I’ve been sticking to steak with homemade vegstable soup, Chipotle burrito bowl and air fried chicken with veggies… I also do uphill jogging and dumbell workouts. Usually 20-30 min workouts every other day.. first day gives greatest results typically because loss of water weight daily loss seems to be 1-1.5lbs . I dont feel weak, first couple of days I did feel light headed but that went away after day 3 or 4. Have a good day

  • 👏🏻This is a very fair review of the “Snake Diet” and Cole Robinson. Thank you Paul for doing your research about the snake diet as opposed to just jumping to conclusions based on the negative reviews of other fitness pros. I agree Cole is not for everyone but for those who need a guy to scream harsh truths to them about the dangers of their obesity, he’s great.

  • Coke has changed the protocol. He no longer recommends fasting for longer than seven days. He sees the importance of learning to deal with food. The refeeds are important. Thin people benefit from fasting too. It’s a very healthy thing to do. I’ve never been obese but I’m a food addiction. The snake diet is turning my mind around. Cole’s abrasive boot camp attitude is also the kick in the rear that I need! It’s working! I’m becoming stronger than my cravings.

  • Cole is awesome! I was initially also turned off by his approach but then I realized he’s aggressive because it’s so motivating. When I am fasting I watch his articles and get so much motivation from them. I’m also of normal weight and found Cole when I was normal weight but calorie restriction, personal training etc weren’t getting me to were I wanted to be body fat wise. Fasting was what got me there and it’s really helpful for anyone looking to drop weight.

  • I’ve followed Cole and used the Snake Juice …. for me Diets dont work…Calorie Restriction doesnt work…Eat this dont eat that doesnt work…what has worked is putting a Cork in it… whatever is with my personality type or ability to control my vices (ie Food) …I find Fasting the Best Method for Lifestyle and Weight Loss….I’m presently in a 36hr Fast 12hr Feed protocol…I’m on my 10th Fast in 20 days and i feel great….I’ve lost 20lbs and I’m 66yrs old….down from 215 lbs to 195 lbs

  • I’m very familiar with Cole as well. I agree if you can get past his vulgar way of communicating, the message has changed my life. I’ve been doing the “death fast” for 9 days so far and have lost 25 lbs. it’s extreme and difficult and I know a bulk of it is water weight. But I really want to see if I can lose 100 in 30 days. And yes my holistic doctor who has her MD approves of me fasting 😉. I was recommended to document my journey. Anyway I appreciate how you explained the snake diet from an unbiased approach! Thanks Paul!

  • I’ve done just about about every diet from IFYM, counting calories, keto, etc. I found the most success with keto and intermittent losing 100lbs. I gained about 30lbs back and I was determined to lose it over quarantine. I did keto for a month eating around 2000 calories and I wasn’t losing weight. At that point I was 6’1 around 250lbs so 2000 cals should’ve been a good deficit. I got a metabolic test done and my resting metabolic-rate was 1800 cals and my body fat was 24.6%. A did. the snake diet for a month and did the same tests. My resting metabolic rate was 4000 cals and my body fat percentage was 19%. I had lost 20lbs of fat and my metabolism doubled from not eating.

  • cole changed my life his Aggressive approach is what motivated me i was 383 pounds and i started to fast i am now 234 pounds and going down fuck a doctor all they do is lie cole is my doctor I had diabetes I was going blind and had high blood pressure high cholesterol I don’t have that anymore my goal is to get to 200 and i will all beacuse of cole ✊🏽💪🏽💪🏽💪🏽

  • I did it hardcore for a few months about 2 years ago. Went from 285lbs to under 230lbs. I have kept the weight off (and more, 218lbs now) and do some extended fasting from time to time to cut or correct some unintended weight gain if I get sloppy. It’s a great tool and taught me that food does not control my life. I know it’s not like that for everyone, but it probably saved my life considering what my cholesterol and blood pressure used to be like.

  • As an obese person, I love fasting. Most of the time I’m not even hungry. It’s a social and habitual thing most of the time for me. Having ADHD also makes me bored if I don’t stay busy so I use food as a source to get rid of my boredom. Getting busy, walking, doing chores around the house (I’ve cleaned two closets in a week so far 😂) has helped me understand true hunger cues. So far, I’ve kept off 20lbs! I’ve heard about the snake diet before but found Cole too aggressive for my liking because at the time I allowed other people (mostly other youtubers) telling their audience that “it’ll create an eating disorder”. I just stopped listening to people, my doctor included, when I heard someone say that fasting is bad and that eating 3 meals and 2 snacks a day is amazing. Lol. We didn’t get to this point in history with an obesity epidemic by fasting. We got here with mass misinformation. I watch Dr.Jason Fung and Dr.Mindy Pelz.

  • Bravo for taking the time to do the research before slamming Cole. Seems to be what everyone does lol. I’ve tried so many routines myself, 6 small meals at a caloric deficit, omad, keto, omad keto and the only thing that has sustained a weight loss result that hasn’t plateaued is the fasting method. Especially given the numerous health benefits and the muscle sparing properties, it seems to be the most effective (for me at least :))

  • I stumbled upon the Snake diet on Reddit after researching Dr Jason Fung and I am very glad I did. As a keto dieter who was getting nowhere and even gaining weight during Covid, snake diet was a total game changer. I started my first fast and ended it at 50 hours and have worked myself up to “rolling 72s” as Cole recommends and for the first time in YEARS I’m seeing a noticeable change in how I look and feel. Yeah his style is abrasive and unorthodox but it doesn’t bother me in the least. I actually find his ridiculous rants hilarious at this point. His method is effective. I’m not hungry at all and I absolutely feel great. Even Dr Fung will tell you “eat less move more” just doesn’t work at some point and there is so little dedicated research on weight loss for 45 and over women that buff men talking all about what works for them is literally freaking useless to us. Sure, fasting for 3 days may seem edgy and controversial when the US government recommends shoving 300 g of carbohydrates into your face everyday but the proof is in the results. People who follow the snake diet look good and feel good and hallelujah that it’s just as simple as it is.

  • I tried doing the snake diet for 2-3 days but could only last a day or 1.5 days at a time. Then I’d have a meal and try again. This lasted for 2 wks. I’ve managed to lose 7 lbs in that time. But more importantly, I’ve had a lot of pain go away. I have a sizeable tumor in my lower stomach, upper groin area that they think is a fibroid. It’s caused a lot of very, sharp pain in the tumor and burning pain in the veins in my thighs. The doctor prescribed birth control. I didn’t take it. I’ve never been on it. But after this almost Omad type of fasting for 2 wks. The pain is mostly gone. I’ve really cut my sugar. I can’t wait to see how things ultimately pan out as I will continue to fast and aim for 2-3 day fasts and leave sugar alone

  • Healthy eating isn’t as much about what you eat as it is about EATNG FREQUENCY and inflammation (caused by eating frequency). The science has all moved in this direction over the last 10 years. And the science on this is so much better than it used to be. Our knowledge has exploded in this area. And cole is right. If you want to be healthier, live longer, and maintain a low body fat percentage, you have to stop eating multiple times per day. Period. Generally speaking, once per day if you’re already in great shape, once every two says to slow cut (can also be used to slow bulk, and once every 3-7 days to cut weight fast without losing muscle mass in the process. But you HAVE to follow Coles most recent protocol, he’s truly nailed it with his most recent prescription. .

  • I watch Cole and even though I’m not anywhere near obese, I love that him being real and unfiltered about behavioral issues. I love him screaming in my ear while I clock in my cardio and my workouts. He’s aggressive and it works. Especially when most people are sensitive as heck. People can’t take criticism anymore. People are SO EMOTIONAL. His approach isn’t just for obese people, its for people that want to be DISCIPLINED. Who want to TAKE CONTROL of their lives and not just go with the flow and with trends. People love COMFORT. People always want to negotiate disciplined habits and incorporate comfort. People love taking the road of least resistance. They want easy. Hence pills, waist trainers, liposuction. Fasting has such a healing effect not only on your body but also on your soul. In extended fasts i’ve realized how overrated food is. Food is nourishment, not entertainment! We’re privileged to be able to eat EVERY DAY! Theres people in the world that can’t. You have every right to eat every day if you want to. Three meals a day is a scam. It’s not necessary. Everyone’s situation is different but in general eating three times a day is unnecessary unless you’re training like crazy. But people have no discipline because sugar, comfort food and junk food is easily accessible. Good luck finding a doctor that will encourage fasting LOL. Most will tell you that a dry fast longer than 3 days will lead you to dehydration and die. I’ve fasted longer than 3 days and was fine. Theres so much fear around fasting its pathetic.

  • Having just done a 38 hour fast for an assignment of my class I can say the biggest benefit would be seeing how hunger goes away as fast as it comes if you just decide you aren’t eating, as you said learning to deal with hunger. That’s HUGE for weight loss. I couldn’t imagine doing a diet where I was constantly doing this but hey as long as you can like it and sustain it… I’d say there’s some real concerns for when it’s “done”….

  • I don’t like Cole’s delivery but that’s just me. I have been over 300 lbs and all of us don’t need to be demeaned and put down even more, lol! Strong guidance and abusive guidance are different things but to each his own. Doctor’s also do not cut it for me because I’ve had them tell me to my face that nutrition is hardly in the curriculum at all. I go to them for other things but true health guidance is not their strong suit. I’d rather come here and search out people who have actually done things successfully…I believe them much more. I have now lost over 100 lbs and have a bit more to go and no traditional MD has helped me do it. It has been some amazing success stories here on YouTube along with Doctors who know about the body, nutrition, and how they relate. I do the intermittent fasting regularly and find it the easiest thing I have ever done. I never knew that I could literally not eat! Truly! I thought it would kill me! I had one doctor in all of my 66 years tell me to stop eating and I thought she was just being mean because she was prejudiced towards obese people. I now know that I don’t have to eat daily or even every other day. It’s a freedom that I can’t even describe and I don’t need a doctor’s advice…it’s not their life, it is mine and I need to control it which is another thing that I have learned. No one can care for you like you can. We need to take as much responsibility for our life and health as possible.

  • I’ve done 7-10 day fasts as the norm when I shredded the weight, saving the weekends for dry fasts. One thing I’d recommend is to do a dry fast pretty much every day, the reason being is that you really really really want that water after 24hr, it completely takes your mind off any cravings for food you might have. If you get the shits by having the salts too quick … experiment! Dial back the salts or fast for 20hr, drink the snek juice over 4hr

  • Great article, Dr. Jason fung, dr daniel pompa, dr. Mindy are a few drs that advise fasting. I’m also very familiar with fasting I’ve also done prolonged fasting off and on for 2 years. It’s a great way to get your head into your life, and out of the cupboard. I’m glad he has chosen to start advocating 48s and 72 hr fasts more then longer fasts, I’ve never advised longer. People need to learn to eat in the process. Sure, you can lean out fast but it doesnt help if you dont know how to eat to maintain.

  • I followed Cole’s diet too. I dry fasted for 21 days and lost 21 pounds. I didn’t drink the snake juice. Caution. I’m female and have waist long hair. 3 months later I developed Telogen effluvian (temporary hair loss) due to the extreme weight loss. I went to see a doc due to severe hair shedding. It was taxing on my body. I didn’t have much to lose. So lesson learned is don’t go more than 5 days without the snake juice. You need the electrolytes!!! Or you may experience hair loss like me.

  • I did a 72 hour fast myself but I made sure to get my self in to ketosis to make it easier on my self. The last day was the easiest, I think because I was so deep in to ketosis. I even set a PR with weighted pull ups the 4th day and I am not even a beginner. Its such a special way to fast. The article is on my website if you are interested 👀

  • You are awesome Paul. Yes it is definitely very easy to get turned off by Cole’s approach, but I massively respect how you looked at the protocol objectively. I am a boxer so I am very lean, and I used prolonged fasting to get my body into ketosis faster so I could get “fat adapted.” I learned a lot of great information from Cole’s articles, but just like anything else I experimented and learned what works best for me. Thanks again for the great content you put out as well @paulrevelia

  • Snake diet is by far the most effective diet I’ve ever done. Been training and dieting for over 10 years now and have followed many health/fitness pros and popular diets. Non of these pros or diets are better than Cole Robinson and the Snake Diet! I recommend to anyone but plz ensure you learn as much as u can first and also follow the Snake Diet Motivation page for more knowledge, help and of course motivation !

  • Here’s my problem with people who have obesity fasting… in obesity medicine, almost ALL of my patients (I’m not a doctor, I am a patient Coordinator who works with obesity medicine specialists) only eat once or twice a day… they are not eating properly when they stop.fasting and it leads to binging

  • Feast and Famine was literally how the human body was designed to work by nature. If you haven’t tried fasting, the biggest hurdle is the sugar and caffeine withdrawal. He said to start with 48’s, but I’ve found it’s a lot more sustainable to start with a 24 and then add a day each time you break. By the second or third time you go into a new fast like that – you’ll be able to handle the hunger pains with no second thoughts. They’re typically gone by 36 hours anyway.

  • I just last night spent the night in hospital after crash dieting on low 1000 to 1200 calories a day, and occasionally fasting a day here or there. My blood pressure dropped and oxgyen depleted, i was gasping for breathe like a fish out of water. On arrival at the hospital my blood pressure was like 70/50 and I normally have high blood pressure. Who knows what it was when I was gasping for air. I could have died, because i was so desperately trying to lose weight and had lost about 35kgs. I ate a whole damn tuna mornay with pasta shells and ate more within the next 12hrs and put back on 2.5kgs but my blood pressure is stable again. What caused that is still unresolved and i speak to my doctor tomorrow hopefully. Terrifying experience

  • Not just obese people that benefit from this approach. I’m considered “average weight” for my height and this lifestyle helps me feel amazing. Not to mention that it builds mental fortitude and toughness 💪 The sense of accomplishment I felt after my first 72 hour dry fast was incredible. It makes one truly appreciate the simple things in life. And I never ever felt that I was being unsafe as I chose to do it in the comfort of my own home. I would not recommend such a long fast to someone who is super lean of course. Cole typically recommends OMAD for super lean people. Thank you Paul for being open minded enough to consider the benefits of this approach! Autophagy and its positive effects on longevity through prolonged fasting have been studied extensively and proven for generations.

  • The first 40 day water fast I did. I didn’t take anything but just water. It was hard. Now I am led to do another 40-60 day water fast but would like to try the snake juice with it. During your long fast of 15 days days did you take snake juice daily? Did you water fast the whole time without a refeed? Did you workout at all if it was daily or partial?

  • As someone with hypothyroïdie this the only thing that actually work for me! I found it recently and lord its a game changer. Lost over 40lbs and still losing. This the most Ive lost my entire life. So you have my thanks deep from my heart❤❤❤ Also got rid of my prediabetiese. Im beeing follow by dr so if you want to know my blood test result I can share it by decembre 2024 😊

  • I looked into the Snake Diet and there’s actually no “fixed routine”. Cole emphasizes on customization of the routine towards what works best for you. For example, I found that the best routine for me was: 1. pushing my eating window (3-4 hours) to 10 AM. 2. Lifting weights later on in the day (maybe at around 5-6 PM). 3. Drinking a bit of snake juice before bed to replenish electrolytes. 4. Cardio the next morning before my refeed. – I would always wake up leaner the next day. My workouts were all intense. Strength progression was consistent. My weekly workouts were Push/Pull/Legs/Rest/Upper/Lower/Rest. Sometimes I would throw in 1 or 2 48 hour fasts per week, with a bit of dry fasting here and there. I believe THAT was the best routine.

  • First off thanks for always putting out insightful content. Extended fasting and intermittent fasting has helped me differentiate between mind hunger and body hunger, it sort of reset my palete and helped in forming good habits and destroying my sugar addiction.I have cut 60 pounds in 8 months through proper dieting and exercise.I now find myself stuck with this last bit of body fat(around my belly) and I am going to give this a shot …I have tried your diet break method and had some success but scale is stuck again .Lets hope this is the final step to a chisel mid section.

  • The nice thing about fasting is you wont have the metabolic shift like restrictive calorie eating. It does not slow down your metabolic rate. The problem is you have to be super strict. Fasting means fasting! you can have nothing that will spike your insulin, If you do the fast is over and now you are in a highly restrictive calorie diet, not a fast. This is why diets fail. restrictive calorie eating slows your metabolic rate. Once off diet you rebound and gain a ton of weight quickly. Fasting doesn’t do this. I think Cole promotes more of a 48 hour fasting schedule now. Maybe longer fasts for morbidly obese people. As far as safety goes people have been fasting as long as humans have been on Earth. We didn’t have access to 6 meals a day, hence the continual spiking of ones insulin. It is not natural to eat every couple hours, period. Most people have a hard time committing to fasting because they have zero discipline and have lived an entire life eating non stop. I myself do alternate day fasting and love it when i want to drop a few pounds. I never eat more than once a day but when I do eat I never count calories. I eat a ton of food and enjoy the foods I eat. I never consider myself “dieting” this is my feeding schedule. I just choose to spike insulin no more than one time in a 24 hour period. After the holidays and probably 100000 extra unneeded calories I just throw on some 48 hour fasts and drop any extra baggage in a few weeks. Unless you can get your mind in the correct place fasting won’t work because you’ll cheat and it won’t be a fast.

  • My only problem with the snake diet is that my blood pressure and blood sugar drop extremely low, I get very dizzy and I start shaking. Is there a way I could fix this problem?! I love the snake diet, it helps me feel great! I’ve dealt with constipation for years and once I started the snake diet, I was able to use the bathroom without taking anything for constipation. If anybody is able to help me with this problem, please let me know.

  • Who else has the fantasy of living on some deserted island to get the weight off and get electrolytes from swimming in the sea. 😭 I keep failing at completing my 40 hour fast. I need help. sigh I managed to stick with it pretty much in November but now…. What should I change? I need a different approach. I know it’s a mental thing.

  • Former fatty who lost 100+ pounds and has kept it off over 2 years. Just some context, 44 currently in the best shape of my life, 5 11 and 170 from about 275. Extended or extreme fasting will work for sure. I found the hardest part being making the adjustment to normal eating when reaching an ideal weight. Luckily for me things just clicked at the right time and now I eat more normal than ever, but adjusting to and from, that’s what people screw up. Love your vids by the way.👍💪

  • Your message is not for the average person, ( just saying) cause the average person has weight issues, eats bad, and is probably obese…. Most aren’t training for a competition or meal prep weekly. How do we get the fat off quickly? Most can’t stay dedicated ling enough to lose 2 pounds a weeks of your 50-100+ pounds over weight.

  • Getting some serious robocop vibes from the new intro. lol Anyway, I agree that your approach to dieting should be based on your personal goals. It is great for people just looking to lose weight fast, but if you’re a physique competitor, that just isn’t the best possible approach. Sure you’re gonna lose weight, but the amount of lean mass loss would be greater. I’ve tried IF before, and working out fasted is great at times, but your energy levels still aren’t optimal. I prefer having some energy before a workout, so I can lift and keep making “gainz”. Great article, as always Paul.

  • The only thing I hate is I get very tired doing long as 5 days r 3 days fast. I rather learned how to eat clean not to binge and now I’m doing a 90 days cut and I know I won’t fail because I have all the answers in my book of bodybuilding from people pros on u tu be . I lost 4 Kg in 36 days. And I can enjoy every day without suffering and work out 2 hrs daily medium to hard efforts. This is what I recommend

  • Thanks alot for your unbiased article and comments. have done a lot of water fasting during the last decades, hunger is never a problem as it disappears after a day or two if you don’t eat anything. The problem with the water fast was more of symptomes like headaches and circulation problems. Found out long before I knew about Cole that these symptomes didn’t appear at all once I take some himalayan pink salt daily. It#s not just about losing weight but your immune system resets afer a 72hrs fast and especially those having to deal with chronic inflamation should give fasting a try where I would recommend to use snake juice instead of just water.

  • Hey Paul! 💪 what’s your thoughts on doing a 4 days on 1 day off repeat coming off legs push pull off repeat? I think I’m not progressing because I’m doing too much sets per week. So having an extra rest day could help? Reason why I do that many sets (21-24) for major muscle group is to hit each muscle fibres

  • Cole is hard for me to listen to ..the only problem I’m super obese but menopausal and so fasting caused my A1c to go up up..I did keto a decade. Lost 100 lbs gained 60 back eating keto and intermittent fasting.. so frustrating. Did everything like I was suppose to but ended up having to add some good carbs back in to get my blood sugar down some ..I know sounds weird but it’s sadly my experience ..I would love something Anything to work for me xoxo

  • Great info vid. Thx! I’m alternate day fasting week 1 and I ready feel a positive change. I’m wanting to do a 48 hour fast with the help of snake juice. My wife thinks that I’ll die without food lol. It’s crazy how she thinks like that. I explained that our ancestors went days without eating until they killed their next meal lol

  • The snake diet can only help you lose as much fat weight as your body can process. Don’t eat food, burn fat, drop weight. Snake Juice just keeps electrolytes in your body. I lost 30+ pounds on my first round of the snake diet. But then I gained it all back due to eating normally again. If you’re going to do fasting like this to drop the weight, you should come up with a plan to preserve your gains after shredding the pounds. I still currently use fasting and electrolytes to keep my weight in check. Cole will tell you how to make Snake Juice on your own if you don’t want to buy it. He only makes it due to demand from his followers. STOP EATING FATTY!

  • If Cole don’t motivate yall… nobody will lol first time I watched one of his articles I was hooked. Longest I’ve fasted was 21 days & lost 37lbs. Discipline yourself. It’s all mental. Think of your hunger as weakness leaving your body & discipline building simultaneously. U need less sleep, have more energy & rid your body of toxins. It’s life changing.

  • Exercise physiologist here… just wanted to point out here, about 10-14+ pounds of that is extreme glycogen depletion (water loss). Losing 35 pounds in 15 days is very clickbaity. A morbidly obese man could lose probably 35 pounds in 30 days with 10+ pounds still be glycogen. But yes a morbidly obese man could lose 20+ pounds a month. I’m all for fasting though if done safely and correct though

  • I used to follow Cole as I thought his approach was interesting. I stopped the day he told his followers to put their obese cats on a fast. And his followers were getting on board. A fasting approach for obese cats is deadly based on their physiology…it causes fatty liver disease and it can kill them. He should stay in his lane and stick to human recommendations (coming from a vegan animal lover) IMHO

  • Every extreme diet approach I’ve seen, including Snake, seem to bring results that are something less than optimal. Cole yells at the screen with his average build/physique, and a 16 – 19% percent body fat level. The natural bodybuilding sites like Paul Revelia, AthleanX, Fitand50, Jeff Nippard, and so on, and their general grouping of diet approaches and exercise routines, are bringing results that FAR EXCEED everyone else. If Cole can bring a slue of female figure bikini competitors like I’ve seen on this site, and get them winning competitions, then I’m all ears. But until he produces, or any of these other exotic diet and exercise approaches bring the TOP results,…than I’m not interested. Sorry…..I’m a results orientated person.
