How do I reduce metadata?

Metadata is data that defines or describes another piece of data, and it can reveal more about you, your devices, or your organization than you realize. Many devices, such as computers, cameras, or smartphones, automatically embed metadata in any digital files they create. Most software programs or file formats include placeholders or standards for specific types of metadata. A common example is Microsoft Word, which by default includes information about the author, the date when the document was created, and any embedded comments or revisions.

Metadata can include file creation date and time, the address or geographic location, your name, your organization’s name, your computer’s name or IP address, the names of any contributors to the document or comments they have inserted, type of camera and recording device, and the make, model, and service provider of your smartphone. To remove metadata, right-click on the file and view its properties.

  • I love how Kevin’s like, “Hey Jacques, got you an epic greenhouse for your birthday, but I’m leaving for the weekend and you’ll need to clear out your entire backyard to fit this, and put it all together, but SURPRISE!!” Seriously tho, what an epic gift for your most epic teammate!! Love you both and happy birthday!!

  • Since we’re doing a Jacques appreciation episode.. I watched Epic before Jacques started appearing on article. I started perusal because I loved Kevin/Eric/Evan/DragonDaddy’s energy and passion for gardening, and having Jacques in the articles with him just brought out even MORE of that DragonDaddy energy that made me subscribe to this website in the first place! After all this time, the website wouldn’t feel the same without Jacques! It would certainly be less fun! Kevin/Eric/Evan and Jacques – a gardening match made in heaven! Like tomatoes and marigolds! ❤ Happy birthday, Jacques!

  • Happy Birthday Jacques! Love that greenhouse, it looks incredibly well designed and easy to assemble compared to most things! I love how Jacques has the similar ideas to repurpose things like shipping crates into new uses! A lot of things in my gardens have come from recycled and repurposed items, including shipping containers and pallets!

  • Beyond fantastic!!! As I regularly tell Kevin on Twitter, I love what he’s built and continues to build at Epic Gardening and I can honestly say I don’t think it would be the same without you Jacques. The two of you make a great team. Happy birthday!!! Awesome greenhouse, so now I have yet something else to be envious about. Cheers fellas…

  • I have the exact same BC Greenhouse, same foundation framework, color, size, roof and side materials. Except my lower vents are on each long sides. My biggest dilemma was where to place it, but the sunniest location in winter is the best place as you said, especially with living in BC. BCGreenhouses set it up for me and it took about 2 hours. Getting electricity installed makes life even better. What a great Birthday gift!

  • this is perfect for christmas time. I am green with envy. I pulled down the remains of my greenhouse two seasons ago. figured the foundation would help keep the raspberries in check, so far so good. plan to build a smaller lean to with what I managed to salvage. I just have to wait for spring. loved the unit made from the box. nothing wasted.

  • Happy birthday big pimp, and congratulations 🎉. I’m jealous AF. That thing is NICE. I’m in zone 9 A (almost B) as well, and I want a greenhouse for starting seeds. It would be so much easier for me. I even already have a 6×8 slab in my backyard that would be perfect for it, but I gotta wait til I can justify buying something decent bc I don’t want to cheap out and regret it later.

  • Happy Birthday Jacques! Beautiful space you created. Having your own greenhouse is such a game changer. I love how secure that kit is because my most annoying greenhouse pest is mice! We made ours with a combination of salvaged windows and corrugated polycarbonate panels- unfortunately there are just too many gaps that mice can find their way into. A kit like this on a poured slab floor will hopefully someday be in my future 🤞🏼😆

  • How happy you are with BC Greenhouse Builders? I live in Seattle and in the process of selecting the best greenhouse vendors to purchase by early next year. I am always fascinated with orchids since I am a young kid & very tedious to move them around. I want a permanent place to grow them including my tropical plants, and or trees. Thanks for showing this episode…
