The article discusses the use of mana minecarts and botania in Enigmatica 6 Expert, a mod that allows for automated long-range mana transportation. The bottom setup involves a hopper/dispenser activated by an hourglass or animated torch, which pulls a mana tablet from an ender chest and fires it into the full pool. This method is ideal for high-volume, long-distance transport, but can be complicated to set up.
The mana transfer process is quick due to the quick transfer of sparks. To ensure proper input, a dominant spark can be placed anywhere along the line. The Mana Pump, a block added by Botania, transfers mana between Mana Pools and Minecarts with Mana Pools. It can face any of the four cardinal cardinals.
A balanced, regular way to transport mana over long distances is through a Mana Pool in a Minecart. When a device with a Spark attached needs mana, it will drain all Mana Pools with Sparks in its range. Shift right-clicking on a Spark with a Wand of the Forest will pick it up.
The Mana Pump is a block added by the Botania mod, which allows for the transfer of mana between Mana Pools and Minecarts with Mana Pools. Blocks sending and receiving mana must be adjacent to and on opposite sides. A mana spreader can be used to move mana from the Dominant pool to a Recessive pool on a different color.
To verify the setup, remove the mana spreader and drop 8 carrot juice on each block.

I’ve been rewatching a lot of your old articles, they are still super informative! This one gave me the idea to use this setup in conjunction with the blood magic mod to teleport mana pools around to get instant mana transportation. You couldn’t however put a spark on top of it to move it, so you had to move the pool, pump it into minecart, and then pump it back out of the minecart to supply mana to where you needed it. And they detected when they were empty too! Which sent it back instantly with blood magic to get filled again!
I can handle complex magical theroy but the simple redstone contraptions always throw me off. you fixed my redstone glitch, thankyou. Also small tip, Attatch Narslimmus to some high output slime farm and you will absolutely need this rail, possibly a few. Mine is half constructed and I am currently drowning in mana
You could color mana pools?.. I never saw that in the Lexica Botania. What entry is this even? Floral Powder? I have a small request. Risk, can you please make a article on Botania’s lesser known features, like this one, sometime? And possibly some other tips-n-tricks that you know of, but don’t see used by people most of the time?
