To start a farm and make money, follow these steps:
- Go to any crop in your farm plot and click “R” to view crop information.
- Right-click on your water and fertilizer until the bars are showing full.
- Add water and fertilizer to your crops to grow quicker and yield more.
- Choose the best location and crops to grow, as well as how to choose the best location and crops to grow.
- Distil water or purified water if the crop needs water and it hasn’t rained recently.
- Open your inventory and right-click on the water to water the crops.
- In the BDO Farming Spreadsheet, you can obtain money by harvesting one out of three crops and breeding two out of three crops.
- If the crop needs water and it hasn’t rained lately, get some distilled water or purified water ready in your inventory and take it to your garden.
- The 10 slot garden takes 20 mineral waters from empty to full.
To water crops using bottles of Mineral/Distilled/Purified Water, you can pick a plot of land, place a fence on it, plant seeds, and grow your own crops. Just open your inventory while standing over your farming fence and right-click the distilled water.
In summary, starting a farm involves selecting a plot of land, placing a fence, planting seeds, and growing your crops. By following these steps, you can increase the growth and yield of your crops and make money from farming.
📹 Farming For Cooking Made Easy (BDO Guide)
After doing a short video on farming for cooking some time ago, I wanted to do a proper guide this time around. Farming sheet: …
📹 Artisan in 1 Day – BDO Farming Power Level and Quick Start Guide
In this guide, I’ll show you how to power level farming from beginner to artisan in one day to get magical seeds. Magical seeds are …
There is one advantage to using Special seeds over Magical seeds: you get a LOT more Blush Leaves. A TON more. From 10 fences I’m getting almost 200 Blush Leaves per “full” seed harvest (to re-fill my farm) of Special Seeds (Master 8 Farming). It’s translating into more Farming experience and more CP because I turn them ALL in for the CP/EXP exchange. Note: I’m doing this on the Season server, which may have a higher drop rate of Blush Leaves. I always keep one character on the Season server for farming and horse taming (the horse nodes are almost always up on the Season server and nobody is taming there). I feel like it’s worth the extra time to get the extra leaves to farm CP with.
Not to be picky but the tables for grow times and trade values are off dramatically for many crops such as Radishes and Perilla, perilla is off by an how and a half alone. The optimal grow locations are off for many of them as well. Are there plans to update the spreadsheet? Either way thank you so much for this resource.
The O’Dyllita picture for Narcion is missing. I’ve been running around it to find a spot for Rice/Radish/Nappa but every spot around Narcion has them just outside the temp range. The temperature map in game is also stupid…when I look on it I have two shades of green, a darker shade(colder) and and a lighter shade(warmer). Every time I move to a colder spot…the map changes to the other. What am I missing?
Might as well ask here since I want to drive up engagement; So Deyumyum told me that he is pruning all of his because he wanted to get to G40 farming, and it brought a few good points in that it lowers gather time the higher the level. I guess this doesn’t really matter if you farm magicals? Also it seems like you drop hards when you prune yourself? I have been turning in my leaves for XP and the CP, and he said that XP doesn’t compare, and because I am under 450 it seems like it gives a lot of CP, but really it isn’t worth it, and that will slow down xp gain? I like magicals for fruit and xp for now, I am 437 cp atm. I do not cook, so that don’t matter, just want xp and cp, and fruit for elixirs.
For the people wanting to farm at Heidel: You can power level with Special Purple Mushrooms at Demi Riverbank opposite of the storage keeper. What matters is that the humidity is outside of the ideal range (8% blight chance), which you can check in the crop UI. Also, note that the space to place fences is very limited at Demi Riverbank. A small thing I didn’t mention: When transitioning from special seeds into magical seeds, you’ll want to put workers on your farm. It will speed up the process a lot. You can assign workers via the farming menu – the fence icon in the top left. Workers can come from any town (no node connection needed) but should bring lots of stamina, so ideally humans/giants.
