The solution to watering plants in FTB involves placing a Buildcraft pump at one corner of a 3x3x1 deep pool of water. Watering Cans, which can hold up to 1,000 millibuckets of water, are the most common method. Collecting water for irrigation is possible in wasteland but slow due to lack of rain. Railcraft Water Tanks or AgriCraft Wooden Water Tanks can be set up in oceans.
The Feed the Beast (FTB) modpack, designed by the Feed the Beast (FTB) modpack team, adds Watering Cans to irrigate plants using water. Hydroangeas, a passive generating flower added by Botania, produces Mana from nearby water sources but will wither and turn into a Dead Bush after being placed for one. To hydrate farmland, select a Hydration Cell in your hotbar and right-click on the crop, whether empty or with a plant in it. Fertilizer increases nutrition, and crops placed above hydrated soil have added benefits while growing.
Watering Cans work almost as fast as watering cans, covering MFR, Forestry, or any other farm. They need no water blocks and automatically water everything underneath them. The Water Garden is a slime essence crop from magical crops that grows fast. Inferium farmland can be optionally hydrated next to water, but IC2 cropsticks may not plant.
In summary, the solution to watering plants in FTB involves placing a Buildcraft pump at one corner of a deep pool of water, using Watering Cans, and adjusting the watering area to suit the needs of different crops.

BYJU provides complimentary educational resources and financial assistance in the form of a 100-unit scholarship to those who successfully complete the BNAT examination.
Why don’t my Sprinklers work in Stardew Valley?
Sprinklers automatically water new tiles in a player’s fields, but they won’t water untilled tiles. Players must manually water new tiles within range of a Sprinkler. The basic Sprinkler doesn’t cover enough ground to be worth its cost, so it’s recommended players don’t use them heavily until they unlock the Quality Sprinkler. A group of four Quality Sprinklers can water a 6×6 area of farmland indefinitely, saving time. Quality Sprinklers are particularly useful in greenhouses, as only a few are needed to cover the entire space.
The top-tier Sprinkler is the Iridium Sprinkler, which is expensive but allows for large self-watering fields. Late game items can boost all Sprinklers, available only after reaching Qi’s Walnut Room.
Where can I use watering can?
Watering cans are used by gardeners, road workers, and in symbolic art. They are cylindrical, tin-plated vessels with a perforated pouring piece, often used by lower classes to artificially moisten the surface soil. Impressionist artist Pierre-Auguste Renoir painted a work with a watering can, while John Cleese described them in a 1963 sketch. A school garden in the Netherlands features a watering can on a stake.

To ensure optimal plant health, use watering wands, drip irrigation, or soaker hoses to direct water to the root zone. Watering early or late in the day minimizes moisture loss from soil surface evaporation. Shield plants from wind to reduce moisture loss. Plants require oxygen as much as water, so it’s best to let the soil surface dry between waterings, especially with container plants. Water deeply and less frequently. Allowing soil to get too dry can damage fine root hairs, reducing energy for flower and fruit production.
How do I fill my Watering Can in Stardew Valley?
Players can refill a Watering Can by approaching a nearby lake or pond, interacting with the water by left-clicking, and waiting for a few seconds for it to refill. They can refill it halfway or not at all. To avoid constant refills, players can upgrade their watering cans to better capacity by visiting Clint the Blacksmith in Pelican Town. It takes two nights for Clint to upgrade the Watering Cans, and he asks for specific materials based on the player’s level of expertise.
📹 FTB SkyFactory 3 Season 2:Episode 2:Crops and Water!
The sky calls to me and I have answered! Sky Factory 3, Season 2, The Return to the Sky! Let’s get started with nothing but a tree, …
Great episode. I like the platform idea and the theme idea. Maybe combine them? I think it would cool to have some arching bridges between them. Make each theme for the main mods that you’re building? And your first spawn area as your main inventory/crafting? I’m sure whatever you come up with is going to be great 😁
Been a while since I commented Old Buddy. I think maybe as an end goal a giant Mothership/Spaceship with different areas and rooms inside for the various life support systems, kind of like an Arc type ship traveling to a new colony. It would look amazing especially at night with the way the Sky looks.
You are making good progress already! I like the island idea, but in order for you to get the to look right you will need flight first so you can detail them. I think large islands for each biome would be interesting and then you can have some crazy builds in each one. Don’t forget to light up your extension or you are going to have a bad night! I do believe you can make dirt the same way I told you about for FS, two pieces of dirt and two gravel to make four coarse dirt, which can then be turned back into regular dirt. Quick way to cut out a little of the grind.
Making great progress! I started last night with the same seed, we’re almost playing together 🙂 I took a slightly different route and sieved gravel until I got enough flint to make flint meshes. Doing that got enough iron to make iron buckets. I used wooden shears, didn’t see the stone ones. Not sure which is better, at the beginning wood is easier to get than stone. (Psst vein mining works with the shears 😉 ). I also didn’t get any rain, maybe the platform is too close to the desert 🙁 As for the “rules”, I like the islands idea
