The Ritual of Gaia is a ritual added by Botania to summon the Guardian of Gaia, the source of Gaia Spirits. To perform this ritual, a Beacon and 4 Gaia Pylons are required. The exact positions can be previewed in the world using the Lexica Botania’s. In this video, Vallen takes on the Gaia Guardian fight from Botania and shares tips and tricks on how to summon the Guardian, fight it, rewards, and what can be crafted from them.
The Gaia Guardian will drop 8 Gaia Spirits upon defeating it, needed for many end-game items in Botania. The Gaia II guardian drops 16 spirits and a random amount of Gaia Spirits. Gaia Spirits can be used to craft powerful Baubles from the Gaia Guardian. To summon the boss, shift right-click a Terrasteel Ingot on an active Beacon with 4 Gaia Pylons nearby.
The player can summon a Gaia Guardian by performing the Ritual of Gaia, which is predicted to be mid/end-game to achieve. To prepare and use Botania brews, strength, fire resistance, and regeneration are the most helpful. If necessary, use easy difficulty if necessary. During testing, the Gaia Guardian has been tested many times over.
