The Fuzzy Bunny Belly Plant, also known as Tradescantia chrisophylla, is a perennial plant that can be propagated indoors. It is mildly toxic to humans and pets, and its sap can cause burning in the mouth, tongue, and throat, as well as skin irritation. To care for your plant, provide bright, indirect sunlight and place it near a window where it can get sunlight.
To create a nurturing environment for your baby bunny bellies, follow these essential care tips for light, water, and temperature. Place your plant about 3 feet from a south-facing window and consider using shears to minimize sunburn damage. Avoid exposing your plant to direct sunlight, as it may damage its delicate leaves.

The first method of propagating Baby Bunny Bellies is through water propagation. Follow these steps:
- Water your plant regularly during spring and summer using a balanced liquid fertilizer.
- Indirectly sun your plant, ensuring it gets enough sunlight.
- Repot your plant once a year or once it outgrows its pot.
- Keep the soil moist but not soggy.
- Provide your rabbit with access to hay, leafy greens, and fresh water. You might also need to syringe feed a high-fibre gruel.
- Clean your habitat thoroughly at least once a week.
- Protect electrical wires or plastic water pipes from being chewed.

📹 What Your Rabbit’s Sleeping Position Reveals About Their Personality, Health and Character
Rabbit Body Language A rabbit’s sleeping position can reveal a lot about their personality, health and how they are feeling.
I have 2 bunnies, they sleep in all these positions, but at night they always snuggle with one another, either in a kind of ying-yang position with one bunnies feet at the others head or they just straight up cuddle by laying flat and one tucking it’s head under the other with their limbs intertwined, it’s honestly really adorable
I just lost my bunny last Friday 😢😢 and looking for bunny articles. And this made me so happy cause he did all the positions mentioned through his 2 years. Sad he passed so young. Heartbreaking he isn’t with us anymore. 💔 but looking forward to our new start soon. And possibly new additions when we are ready again. Be kind and give love always. Never know when is the last day. ❤❤🙏
My 11 month old American Chinchilla Rabbit sleeps on his side, eyes fully closed, nose not twitching, all the time. He loves his ears, belly, and even tail rubbed, by me. He even doesn’t mind me picking him up and holding him although he doesn’t like being put down. I’ve had him since he was just eight weeks old and I am honored that I have been able to earn his trust so much. There’s nothing quite like knowing you have a trusted such a vulnerable creature and once you do, communicating with them is amazing
I’ve had my bunny for 3 weeks now and only heard of the dead flop position. I thought it was the only position meaning that he trust you entirely and was kinda confused if he really liked me or not because he still didn’t do it. Now after this article I realised he trust me as he sleeps in a lot of those positions near me one being the back to back. Thank you for sharing this article and making me realised that my bunny does in fact trust and love me
One of my bunnies (I have three) loved to fall asleep on my lap whilst i was perusal articles on my PC 🙂 He cuddled up real good and fell asleep 😀 Now i dont get him out as often anymore, which makes him moody, but he doesnt like to get picked up so i go in their enclosure (they now got a whole room to themselves, since i moved) and pet them there 🙂 ‘ I also wondered.. My third bunny is a younger one and I adopted her when someone let her lose in my parents garden. I always wondered if she is actually happy, but seems like it from judging her sleeping positions now 😀 She also now lets me pet her way more and enjoys it 🙂
i like that, ‘it takes a while for most rabbits to trust you and sleep next to you’ i got my 11th rabbit Squidge back in september, he is a 2 year old and was used for breeding, before i brought him home. after like 2 weeks of him being here he was sleeping down my jumping most days and had along cuddly nap with me for a few hours where we shared a pillow
One afternoon I caught my lionhead ‘Elsa’ lying on her back warming her belly from the sun shining in. All four legs up and stretched from front to back. Total relaxation. I absolutely got a couple pictures. It’s been the only time I have ever witnessed her doing that. Otherwise she does all these positions.
One of my bunnies was severely ill during December and early January. He always slept in the loaf-position during that time. So when your bunny only ever sleeps in that position watch out what their food-consumption is. When it is low, then chances are, they are sick too. In his case it was E. Cuniculi, a disease caused by a monocellular parasite. The medicine that finally helped him, after treatment with antibiotics was unsuccessful, was “Panacur”.
I remember I used to have a bunny 🥺😭😢 but it died😭😭😭 and I remember this funny moments where my bunny always used to get on my sofa and my mom used to put these blankets for the couch running like ugly and when my bunny to get on it she used to pee there🤣 I love her so much r.i.p. beauty rest in peace 😭🥺😢🙏🏻
Once, my bunny did the dead flop and she gave herself a too big momentum so she made a complete roll. It was so funny to see as she looked so confused. Since then she only do the dead flop above a wall 😆. She’s more on the superman (which we call the frog, because of the look of the back legs) and the lamb chop. For now, she is sleeping in a bun. And she have a weird habit : she have all the space needed (the entire first floor of the house) but sometimes, she still loves to sleep under chairs with a bar almost poking the front of her head !
My bunny usually jumps to the side of the cage, slips down on it sideways and sometimes ends up with her belly showing. Another strange thing is when she tries to fall asleep in a cornes but not like any other logical bunny, she literally bends her spine 90 degrees so she can fit perfectly in the corner like a boomerang.
I have two bunnies they flop alot so I think they are trusting me lot and feeling safe with me they sleep on my chest so I think it’s a good sign of love they cuddle with me Lot much Its been only 2 months when I adopted them only on 1 month they feel so safe I don’t know why but only in 1 month that’s a world record I think😂
my rabbit sleep next to me and play with me all the time..they trusted me and its fun to play with me everyday..and its good to see that your rabbits have trust on you coz if they’re hungry..they come to you and you.know that you need to feed them😊😍😍😍🤗🤗🤗.it was fun though.i have 34 rabbits ..i have 14 adults and 24 kits😍😍😍.
My bunny doesn’t seem to trust me, but when he is let outside he does binkys all the time. I try to bring him outside as much as possible, but I have to pick him up to do that since he has an indoor hutch. I can’t move the hutch, and my bunny gets more and more resentful of me each time I pick it up. WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?
my bunnies are incredibly fond of the loaf, superman, and lambchop/sunbather position. currently my does both have babies, and their nest boxes take up most of their cage, so they sleep in a loaf bc there just isn’t much room at the moment. my buck, however, flops all over his cage, it’s like he’s taunting them that he has more room lol
I can’t believe my bunny loves me ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️and she sleeps one more different position that u didn’t mention She puts her chin on the floor and paws are behind chin like when dog bags for food or when they wanna bond with small animals they show their cuteness in that way so my bunny does that then i pat her so she fall sleep!
Dead flop and superman, my godmother had a bunny for 9 years and he would always sleep next to them in that position and the 2nd bunny only did dead flop, and the last one was a rescued rabbit from an abusive household who always slept in the 2nd position and then went to the lamb chop because she felt comfortable with my godmother because they fed them gave them a massive cooled enclosure and had protection!
Be careful and pay attention to your rabbit to see if your rabbit is awake just in case you have to do cleaning around them. 2 different times I picked up my rabbit and he was asleep. I pretty much got peed on and this was for cage cleaning day. He sleeps in the loaf position, the superman position and the dead bunny flop.
My bunny snores and oink sometimes in her sleep and her cage is next to my bed and when I’m going to bed she makes some loud noise so that I notice her and then I need to put my hand in the cage and she will lick it and hug it I pet her sometimes and when she fell asleep I keep my hand there and fall asleep whit her😂😩❤️I love my bunny so much❤️❤️❤️🐰🐰🐰
My bunny is actually my sister’s bunny so I’ve only had him for about 10 months, but I normally see him in the scrunched up napping form. Sometimes he’ll lamb chop though, not recently, I don’t think I’ve been spending enough time with him… or he’s just scared cause I get mad when he chews the cords in the room, either way I need to bond with him more
1. loaf in my household is called “nugget”, why? idunno we just called it that once and it stuck 2. just this past week my rabbit has been way more comfortable around me (he lives free roam in my room, has always shown love and feeling safe with me but so much more lately), he got GI stasis 2 weeks ago and is still undergoing treatment, and he gets very mad for the “bunny burrito” but he always forgives us right away and it is almost like he is trusting us more because of it… by this i mean, he has been constantly coming to me when i call (not ignoring me or only coming once in a while like he used to), he is flopping on his side a lot more than before, and just this morning ( which made me so happy i almost cried ) he flopped over on his side on my bed, right after i pet him and gave him kisses, and he has NEVER fully layed down on my bed before– so i just feel so blessed 3. why are rabbits to majestic and cute and chubby looking when they flop over, it really is an amazing sight
My bunny feel slot better now we got him a friend I seen my bunny sleep in alot of sleep when we got the smother bunny he calm and happy and know he love they both stop coming up to me and my partner my bunny he coming licking me today I’m really happy we got them make me smile every day going to litter train soon they both not nut yet
My rabbit died..his name was ranta, but atleast he was happy with me and my family. He pooped soo much in house so we decided to give him to zoo with other rabbits. We thought he would be happy with other rabbits..he last 3 days and died ;( or its also possible he zoo keeper sold it for money and lied to us he is dead..but wherever he is, i hope he is in happiest animal heaven…
Lamb chop! He’ll fling himself into this position or the dead body flop, usually with his back to something. A few times I caught him roll onto his back because he “misses” and sorta rolls then flails his leg in the air until he rights himself, then the lamb chop. He’ll loaf wherever. Recently he jumps on the arm of my couch and loafs there. My arms there for security always, because I had to catch him when he decided to pray groom himself, or the marble groom. (Seriously, he’ll try grooming his back and his side twist and with his coloring it looks like a marbal ball.) Hecdoesnt mind the arm because he’ll demand head pats
To bad for me mine died yesterday I can’t stop crying at least I know he is in my heart and in heaven feeling no pain. He died from walking dandruff also know as fur mites I tried everything I just can’t stop crying. I had him as a gift and he was only 8 months. I am obsessed with bunnies but I think it’s my fault I feed him and gave him water but I think I didn’t treat him with more proper hands. I put medicine on him. But I think he died from being stressed and depressed we never had time for him. I just can’t stop crying I think of him all the time. I just can’t anymore. I miss him so much.
