Galaxy Water Painting Techniques?

This watercolor galaxy tutorial focuses on creating a beautiful and mesmerizing representation of the celestial body. The tutorial begins with drawing a circle using a watercolor pencil, followed by drawing the galaxy outline, applying water, and repeating. The goal is to create a softly scribbling galaxy with a light colored pencil, keeping a white space towards the center of the paper.

The tutorial also covers painting white acrylic painted stars in 30 seconds. It includes step-by-step instructions on how to paint a circular galaxy and a star-shaped one. The tutorial also includes 10 in-depth tutorials that show you how to paint a watercolor galaxy, night sky, and nebula step-by-step.

The tutorial includes three different types of galaxies: a loose spiral, a star-shaped galaxy, and a wet-on-wet technique for a diffused, blended look. To create a starry night sky, simply add water, a few colors, and voila! You have a beautiful watercolor galaxy.

To paint a galaxy, first tap your watercolor paper, then wet it, add your colors, blend and fill, and finally, add black. This tutorial is perfect for beginners looking to channel the mesmerizing nature of a galaxy in their art.

  • Thank you 😊 for the beginner friendly painting!!! I just saw your utube article tonight, California time. I always ♥ read about the artist with the info you have provided. My heart goes out to you, after reading about your chronic health issues. My prayers are with you as you journey through this difficult time… like another person wrote, finding out what your new “normal” is. You’re so very talented and I’m sure you want to do more… but please allow yourself a slower pace and know many prayers are for you. God bless you, The Great Physician, Healer, Comforter – with love from a California Gramma ❤

  • What brand of tape did you use? Plus your galaxy has been in my playlist for 5 or 6 months. I had stopped the hoby 2 years ago yet still watched. I am almost done gather all my supplies and nearly ready to start the hobby again. This is one I want to do VERY soon! Again, beautiful. ~*Shana saying bye for now.
