Circle of Healing increases healing speed and unlocks the Self-Care action while within the Boon’s aura. Botany Knowledge increases healing speed and item efficiency by 33, making it a 6.8 second heal on another survivor. However, Self-Care applies a 65 debuff to your total healing speed, so you only get a fraction of value from it.
Botany Knowledge works with self-care but only applies a 65 debuff to your total healing speed (base + bonuses). It does not stack with other perks like Botany Knowledge, self care, and resilience. The Boon Circle of Healing benefits from its own effect, allowing you to heal yourself at normal speed and others at 2x speed.
Botany Knowledge is a unique perk belonging to Claudette Morel, added to the game in patch 1.0.0. In the last 14 days, 5.03 of Survivors have had it equipped, making it the 21st most used Survivor perk. It allows you to heal yourself at normal speed and others at 2x speed. If you want to pair it with We’ll make It, the old Circle of Healing perk gave you the opportunity to self heal with 50 speed and with Botany Knowledge that increased your healing speed by 30/40/50.
Boon: Circle of Healing benefits from its own effect for Self-Healing, and survivors can only be affected by one instance of it at a time. You can transform plants found around the campfire into tinctures that slow down bleeding, increasing your healing speed by 30/40/50.

Does botany knowledge and self care stack in DBD?
The duration of the healing process following a self-care session without BK is contingent upon the rate of healing. The application of botany has been observed to reduce the healing time to 30 seconds, whereas the introduction of Sloppy has been found to increase it to 37 seconds. The baseline speed is set at 35, and BK adds 50, resulting in a multiplicative speed of 52. This is equivalent to a speed of 5 seconds.
How much time does botany knowledge save?
The baseline speed of self-care is set at 35, and BK adds 50 to it, resulting in a multiplicative speed of 52. This is a reduction in speed compared to the previous version, which was 35 + 50 = 85.
Is self care viable in DBD?
The Sloppy Butcher perk is a perk that encourages survivors to play worse and waste time, preventing them from healing themselves. Instead, they can use Inner Healing, which can be prepared before injury, or run a medkit with two heals. The perk has a 15 pick rate and makes Self-Care waste more time, especially when interupted. With the nerf to medkits, Self-Care + Botany isn’t slower than healing with a medkit, but Botany isn’t in the top 10, suggesting that many people run Self-Care without any speeding tools.
Is botany knowledge good with medkits?
Claudette Morel’s unique perk, Botany Knowledge, provides a distinctive advantage in the healing process and optimizes the efficiency of medical kits. The item was incorporated into the game in the first patch. The item in question has a value of 0. 0 and is currently the 21st most utilized item. Players are able to transform plants that are located in the vicinity of the campfire into tinctures, which have the effect of slowing down the bleeding process.
Does botany work with circle of healing?
The old Circle of Healing (CoH) perk allowed self-healing at a speed of 50, while the Botany knowledge (Bk) perk increased healing speed by 50, resulting in a self-healing speed of 100. The math behind CoH and Bk was 50+50. However, testing with Self-care (Sc) showed that the math behind Sc and Bk works differently, with 35 + (35/2) ≈ 52, resulting in a self-healing time of approximately 31 seconds.
The question is why the combo of Sc and Bk stacks differently than the old CoH and Bk perk combos. The math behind these two perk combos is not clear, but it is possible to obtain answers through other means.
Does botany knowledge affect recovering?
Claudette Morel’s Botany Knowledge is a distinctive advantage that enhances the healing process by 30, 40, or 50 percent. Upon attaining Prestige 1, 2, and 3, one may proceed to unlock Tier I, II, and III of Botany Knowledge for other characters. The transformation of plants gathered around the campfire into tinctures has been demonstrated to have the effect of slowing the flow of blood.
Can you still self heal with boon circle of healing?
The sixth patch. In the latest iteration of the game, seven of the Nerf characters are no longer able to heal themselves without the use of a medical kit. Mikaela Reid’s distinctive benefit, designated as “Boon”: The Circle of Healing can be unlocked by acquiring Prestige Mikaela Reid. How does botany affect us?
Plants are chemical factories that produce various products, including food, paper, building materials, solvents, adhesives, fabrics, and medicines. Botanists study these chemicals to find new uses, such as treating certain cancer types. However, the earth’s biological diversity is decreasing, and humans are increasingly threatening plants and animals in areas with rich biodiversity. Plant taxonomists and ecologists are working to identify and understand new plant species, particularly in tropical rain forests.
These plants could become significant resources for humans, potentially becoming food crops or producing drugs for human diseases. Biological diversity also provides new genes to improve plants, and as genetic engineering techniques improve, our ability to improve domestic plants will also improve.
Does botany knowledge stack with unbreakable?
In conjunction with Botany Knowledge, Unbreakable provides immediate recuperation, thus precluding the possibility of ever again being in a state of decline.
What perk lets you get hit 3 times in DBD?
The Battle of Man allows a survivor to take an extra hit if they take three protection hits for other survivors. This does not put them in a deep wound state like other extra hit perks. After recovering from a downed state, the survivor can use Soulguard to gain an endurance effect for up to 8 seconds. This effect can be used with No Mither or Unbreakable, or when another survivor heals them. The purple addon can also be used to consume a medkit, providing an endurance effect for 8 seconds.

Circle of Healing vs Botany Knowledge + Boon: Circle Of Healing #shorts #struggleshorts #dbdshorts If you enjoyed watching, …
It’s 14 seconds to bless a totem and a subsequent 16 seconds to heal yourself, totalling a nice 30 seconds. (If you know where some totems are the walking time is negligible.) To heal yourself using self-care takes 32 seconds. So not only is Boon: Circle of healing faster from scrap, it also has the added benefit of allowing your teammates to heal themselves, giving your team information about your whereabouts and also potentially allowing you to heal yourself faster next time you get hit.
Just bring bond instead of self care. Your in way more danger when healing alone and it’s way faster with other survivors. Plus, bond has other uses than just finding someone to heal you. It can also let you know where the killer is, where generators are, and, when coupled with the windows of opportunity perk, it can help you get pallet saves too!
This would be balanced if Boons obeyed the same rules as Hexes where once theyre gone, thats it. But as it is, you can infinitely reapply boons to whatever totem you want on the map including on the hex totem, they are as powerful if not more than the majority of Hex perks, and snuffing out a boon doesn’t break the totem even though the animation would suggest otherwise. To put into perspective, imagine if I could just infinitely reapply Hex: Ruin or Devour Hope, or even NOED, while keeping all of the stacks on something like Devour Hope. All of the survivor mains would be brewing a shitstorm on the forums and BHVR would instantly nerf them into the ground. The 3 boon perks are the greatest examples of power creep as they are literally better versions of perks we already have. Circle of Healing > Every healing perk. Shadowstep > Every scratch mark and Aura hiding perk. Exponential > Every dying state perk. It’s only a matter of time before they add a boon that increases interaction speeds like Gen repair, chest searching, vaulting, and door opening. Hell, why not a boon that prevents windows from being blocked by the entity?
boons in general need a rework to how they are applied. I would be OK with how powerful they are as is if there was any risk involved in using them. As they are currently constructed there is zero risk to using them. I hear the argument all the time of “Well if one person is booning they are wasting time” which is a false equivalency. Killer time and survivor time don’t equal one and other because this game by design is 4v1 not 1v1. At best right now placing a boon is an inconvenience if it gets snuff it’s like”oh well I can just find another totem and bless again” There needs to be a risk!!! For such a powerful perk. When the only way to get rid of a boon is to literally stop some one else from playing the game aka killing them then something is clearly wrong with the perks design. Some changes I would love to see that wouldn’t require much coding are a token system they start off with zero and accumulate tokens the more they bless to a max of 4 but drastically. Increase the time it takes to bless. Zero tokens- 14s(standard time) 1 token- 28s 2-42s 3-56s 4-70s These numbers obviously can change but this is just an example. I would also make it if they bless s hex totem they get 2 tokens instead of 1 adding even more risk and making survivors actually think “Should I bless this hex or cleanse it? If I bless it I will gain 2 stacks right off the back but if I cleanse it I will gain none” This will incentives them to want to break more totems which can directly deal with the dreaded NOED survivors claim to hate so much and helps killers will run the new hex as well.
The issue I have with this perk is that it eliminates team wide injury game states. What I mean by that is back in the day you had to go and heal eachother at a reasonable speed or yourself slowly. This meant that splitting up survivors and injuring them was viable and it rewarded you for your pressure; everyone was vulnerable and occupied. Now with a rally point that you’re gonna have to find, survivors can delete that game state by all healing eachother at absurd speeds. You’re actively punished now for not chasing down one person at a time and that strategy usually sucks and leaves the three other players at a huge advantage. It’s frustrating because it’s difficult to counter due to its speed, by the time you get there you’ve got to waste an equal amount of time finding it and snuffing it only for 1-2 people on average being fully healed. Personally I think healing was the way it was for a reason and totems belong to killers. It hurts the game mechanically and in terms of flavor, like imagine if you could bless hooks to leave survivors who get off uninjured? It’s OK to not reach into the killers toolbox for once design wise.
I could agree to all of this new Boon totems perks, if only killers can break them so blank totems will be destroyed and surv with totem perk will have to go and look around for new one. Its balanced: 3 people on gens and one is looking for totem (or more if someone else have this perks – if you want to heal yourself then you have to be ready to constantly looking for totems).
Self care actually has no impact on those last two. what matters there is the medkit. SElf care improves medkit efficiency by 20%, which means you use less charges. but it doesn’t heal you faster. Notice that the boon heal, and the boon heal with self care, take the same amount of time. What would be more interesting there is to see other perks that heal you faster. Desperate Measures. Botany Knowledge, for sure.
Hypothetically, what happens if you use selfcare first then someone boons. Because im pretty sure game is recognizing that you’re using boon and not selfcare. Self healing speed is -100% with medkit it becomes normal healing speed same with boon, and selfcare makes it -50%. So if you use selfcare first thatd -50% then boon totem lights thats +100% so would it be 50% healing speed? (This might work if you switch boon to 2nd perk slot and selfcare to first)
For anyone calling selfcare a waste of time, you don’t understand the game. Healing a teammate costs 16 seconds for 2 players, totaling 32 sec of team idle + relocating time, which also counts double bc 2 survivors are idle for that time. So a heal where 2 survivors need to run to eachother for 10 sec will cost the team 52 seconds for a single heal. Selfcare on the other hand only costs 32 seconds for 1 survivor +0 relocation time. Boon healing costs 16 seconds + (initial totem search time) + (initial totem cleanse time) + relocation time +(only the ability to heal in a limited, destroyable and predictable area. Boon is good, but so is selfcare.
i just find the boon to be OP, sorry but being able to heal faster, HAVE IT heal other people is HUGE its saves time from people coming over to have to heal each other which is what makes it insane, on top of that you just put it at the corner of the map and you know most of the time the killer wont go over at completed gens so you know your safe. and you don’t want to buff self heal up otherwise people can just heal themselves with ease fast and on map in no time and it will just destroy most of the killers in this game that can’t one shot and are forced to chase longer. honestly boon needs a nerf in my opinion being able to heal faster and have it heal others is HUGE save of time. easy fix just make it do one of these things: -50% reduce healing speed because it saves your whole team perk slots and saves your whole team having to heal one another which is more time on gens. – the blessing totems take 20 more secs to put down – if your blessing totem is destroyed 2 times during trail it is removed from that match -blessing totem has a cd once destroyed -blessing totem has healing capped like medkits for a certain duration of time like 90secs before another survivor can go over and heal to full – blessing totem healing range requires you to be closer for other survivor’s who don’t have the perk and other survivors who don’t have the perk cannont see the blue aura until within 8 meters of the totem. the fact that playing DBD and not having a healing boon compared to having a healing boon shows how OP it is.
