Does Botania’S Armor Provide Void Damage Protection?

The armor in Minecraft is designed to block fall damage, which is typically unblockable. The Terrasteel Chestplate, an armor item added by Botania, can use Mana from a Mana Tablet or other Mana-providing item in the player’s inventory to prevent item damage or repair itself. It uses 70 Mana per point of durability.

Botania’s armor uses mana instead of durability, meaning that as long as there is a charged Mana Tablet/Band of Mana in the player’s inventory, they won’t run out of mana. Protection IV on all armor greatly reduces the chance and duration of withering.

The Cloak of Virtue nullifies any damage taken by the player and goes on a 10-second cooldown. It provides complete protection from physical damage but does not block all incoming damage. The Elementium Chestplate, an armor item added by the Botania mod, offers the same level of protection as an Iron Chestplate but uses mana from the player’s inventory instead of taking damage.

Botania’s Terrasteel armor with enchants allows players to wear a bauble that stores mana and one that passively enchants the armor. When the whole set is worn, the player is immune to any damage, including void damage, and will no longer get hit by anything, resulting in no more knockbacks.

The armor is supposed to block all damage, even armor bypassing damage. Each piece of armor has the chance to spawn a Pixie to fly after the aggressor, dealing decent damage. Other gear worn includes the Botania Cloak of Sin, a full set of Terrasteel Armor Enchanted with Protection IV with all 6 Wills.
