Actually I just bought 2 cannas yesterday which are already in flower, that are still in pots and put them in the back yard, and just saw a hummingbird swarming around them. I figured that we had hummingbirds here in northeast Florida but have never seen any. Cannas are one of my favorite flowers, I have not grown them since I lived in the Chicago area in the late 80’s, so it’s been almost 30 years ago.
