A Night In The Greenhouse Nursery In The Garden?

A Night at the Garden is a 2017 short documentary film that explores the 1939 Nazi rally in Madison Square Garden, New York City. The film, directed by Marshall Curry, uses striking archival footage to transport audiences into this chilling gathering and shed light on the power of demagoguery and anti-Semitism. The event, which took place several years into Hitler’s reign of terror and months away from his invasion of Poland, was largely forgotten from American history.

The film also features live music by Whiskey Jones and food from 29:11 BBQ, Jelly’s Snow Hut, and B’Z Gelati. The Green House Nursery, located in Logan, Utah, offers a variety of potted plants and ceramic pots at competitively priced prices. The Greenhouse also hosts evening shopping, mocktails, and relaxation events on late third Fridays in June, July, and August.

A Night at the Garden on Monday, June 3rd from 4-8 pm at Country Gardens Nursery in Kaysville features food trucks, home and garden vendors, Cornhole, and a free event. The six-acre site includes heated greenhouses, cold frames, and outdoor spaces, making it an ideal location for such events.

In summary, A Night at the Garden is a powerful documentary that uses archival footage to transport audiences into the disturbing events of 1939, highlighting the power of demagoguery and anti-Semitism.

  • This whole website is full of so much knowledge, not only have you practically mastered the art of growing, this greenhouse is so much more. Did you study agriculture in school? Maybe its all knowledge passed down through family? I’m genuinely curious because it like you’ve perfected what you do and I’m very envious. If I ever get a house, this is exactly how I want to live. Thank you!

  • When you said someone asked what you were naming the new greenhouse, I thought ‘Bertha’ because she’s huge – and then you said Big Bertha – love it! 😂 I see in the comments others did the same thing – great minds think alike. Can’t wait to see the greenhouse all wrapped up and as always, I love the greenhouse tours where you show the plants you’re growing since pretty much everything is frozen and dead here in chilly MA. Living through you for the next several months 💖

  • Bahaha …I said, “Big Bertha” out loud, when you mentioned someone asked what name you were going to give the greenhouse, then you said it …that just struck my funny bone! Seriously, just for fun, why not hold a Creekside customer-only contest for naming the new greenhouse, with the prize being one of those First Knight purple grasses? That way the people who are actually visiting customers can see your new greenhouse in person and think of a creative name for her/it. Who knows, if you keep the contest going until June1st of 2022, it might give some folks an incentive for taking a road trip to come and visit. Have a wonderful weekend! ~Margie

  • Thank you for the great “behind the scenes” look Jenny!!! And Black Knight is gorgeous!!!! Oh my gosh!!!!! The greenhouse is coming together!!!!! So exciting and I am so happy for you guys!!!! I have to get down there maybe in the spring and visit your nursery since I am only up here in Richmond! I would love to meet you!!!! Great job guys!!! 🤗💕🌿🍁🍂🌱

  • We had a rabbit named Big Bertha 🙂 Funny how you said, “Good smell, not bad.” I’ve notice many YouTube gardeners say “smell” I was taught proper way to describe flowers is “scent” not “smell” because smell usually represents stink LOL. I love your website. Always fun and real. You just need stilts to wear to hang baskets LOL.

  • LOVE that black knight! The fall colors have been late and not as vibrate here this year but, I still love it. Maybe a black gum for that oval shaped red leaf tree… Sugar shack grows wild here, it grows along our creek bank in the shade. Big Bertha was my first thought for the green house, which is coming along nicely. What about; Dirt Huggers or Green Machine, Green Side, Seedify, Gardener’s Den.

  • Oh my gosh! Your fall leaves are “roaring!” That’s what a local told us once about the fall color further inland from the North Shore of Lake Superior. The lake effect makes it warmer along the shore thus delaying the change so one has to drive in a ways or take a ski lift to see the gorgeous maples and ash and aspens and birches in the mountains. I’m so glad you showed us the button bush’s flaming fall color. I saw one at Lowe’s earlier in the season, but it wasn’t that impressive with just green foliage. I remember Linda Vater was going to move hers because it grew so big. Those white “buttons” are kind of freaky. Ooh, how I wish we were closer. I would love to shop in that greenhouse where I know the plants are so well cared for.

  • I live in zone 9b on Vancouver Island, on the west coast of Canada. We moved here in 2014 and l had my first experience with hellebores blooming right after Christmas! Such lovely plants and long blooming. I lived in zone 6a before and it was quite a change😁. I love First Knight grass! They would be great as part of your entry display.

  • Love my new heucheras but found two fell out of my containers. I had planted them in with ferns. Why would that happen? I didn’t find many roots but they sent up blooms this summer so I’m stumped on why they couldn’t stay in the containers. I re-potted one on its own and the other was put in the ground.

  • This message has nothing to do with this article (although a great one), but about an Idea for the future of your garden center/entertainment website…My Aunt & Uncle own Burger Farm & Garden Center (Owned & operated since 1904) Cincinnati Ohio..& they have a corn maze (entertainment fall festivals) every season …I would love to see article entertainment of “business growing venture” in the “harvest/Christmas adventures”…With “Harvesting with Creekside” (all of the kids in our family love it, especially getting paid for having fun). #PlantedASeed #JustAThought #GodBlessYouAll #JesusIsLord #LoveOneAnother

  • OMG,,, Jenny and Jerry !!! I saw the little thumbnail of the article in the list and I was like… GOODY GOODY GOODY,, at the Atlas. So excited. Now, I am not a “Grasses” person at all (allergies). I dislike the look of grasses. I love spikes and things like that. Just no grasses. I do not even like the looks of any kind of grasses. I simply think they look messy and out of control and “CHEAP” looking in gardens. Now PW has THIS GRASS (First night), that are more like “SPIKE” images. It is more dignified looking and I like the width of the blades. That really wide blade is more appealing like a spike would be. You mean the plants ” Line of succession” in their development stages. NOPE.. Do not like the tiger grass.. also looks cheap. I am a bit surprised in the greenhouse you don’t have tables or stands with tiers, so you can get more product in there. We always jammed our greenhouses with product,, on 3-4 different levels in the nursery greenhouse (not production but holding to mature). I have always loved Shasta Daisys, They are such a friendly plant. Miracle Daisy’s also LOVE THEM. Especially the spiral ones that look like a Fibonacci sequence. They are just incredible. The Fairytrail Bride hydrangeas are lovely, but I am more partian to Strawberry Sunday and Vanilla Strawberry for that gorgeous pink & white mix. Also love Twist and Shout from Endless Summer. THE ATLAS! Fantastic. MY VOTE FOR names is….. 1- Zeus (King of Gods) or 2- Hades (god of the underground) At 25:09 is that an outhouse in the back?
