The greenhouse effect, a natural phenomenon that helps maintain Earth’s average temperature level, is a result of the increasing concentration of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere. This effect occurs when gases like carbon dioxide, methane, and water vapor trap heat, insulate the planet from losing heat to space, and raise its surface temperature. The greenhouse effect is attributed to the enhanced greenhouse effect, which occurs when certain gases, such as CO2, accumulate in Earth’s atmosphere.
The greenhouse hyperbole creates the effect that there are immense amounts of flowers sent over by Gatsby, highlighting both his excess and luxury. The speaker exaggerates the impact of the “evils” that have been repeated, using strong language to express the depth of their despair. This is a figurative statement. Nick wants to say that Gatsby sent so many flowers to his place that it was as though an entire greenhouse full of flowers.
The various impacts of the HYPERBOLE project include the production of scientific publications and the development of new technologies to combat climate change. The greenhouse effect is a significant part of the global warming phenomenon, as it helps maintain the average temperature level on Earth. The greenhouse effect is a result of the presence of gases like carbon dioxide, methane, and water vapor in the atmosphere, which trap heat and contribute to global warming.
In conclusion, the greenhouse hyperbole and the greenhouse effect play a crucial role in highlighting the effects of human activities on the environment and the consequences of human actions.

This type of language is often used to add drama and excitement to a story, making it a versatile tool in various fields.
What is the broken clock analogy?
The idiom “a broken clock is right twice a day” is an adage that suggests a flawed timepiece may still be accurate at 1:15. This suggests that an individual who regularly disseminates erroneous data may, on occasion, be privy to accurate information.
How does Fitzgerald use literary devices?
Fitzgerald employs a variety of literary techniques, including imagery, symbolism, and personification, to convey the disillusionment experienced by the characters in the novel, particularly Gatsby and Nick. The green light on Daisy’s porch, which represents both the possibility of a relationship and its unattainability, serves as a prominent symbol throughout the narrative.
What does the green light symbolize in The Great Gatsby?
In F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby, the green light at Daisy’s dock symbolizes Jay Gatsby’s love, desperation, and inability to achieve the American dream in New York during the Jazz Age. Additionally, the color green symbolizes the limitations of power and money.

📹 President Trump on Climate Change
President Trump answers a question on China at his G7 news conference. “I think I know more about the environment than most …
Reporter: Mr. President, what are your thoughts on climate change? President: We sell a lot of oil, we’re building pipelines that produce a lot of wealth, I’m not giving that up. But I like clean water and know more than anyone about the environment. Meanwhile, pipelines leak into our water system and the Amazon burns from animal agriculture.
Reporter: What are your thoughts on climate change? Trump: The FitnessGram™ Pacer Test is a multistage aerobic capacity test that progressively gets more difficult as it continues. The 20 meter pacer test will begin in 30 seconds. Line up at the start. The running speed starts slowly, but gets faster each minute after you hear this signal. (beep) A single lap should be completed each time you hear this sound. (ding) Remember to run in a straight line, and run as long as possible. The second time you fail to complete a lap before the sound, your test is over.

How to answer a question about the environment like Trump: -Mention we make lots of money -Mention we are the number one energy exporter -Mention new oil drilling sites -Mention how no one else pulled that prior mention off -Bring up how everyone is well taken care of since we make lots of money -Talk about how much he wants clean water That’s basically the gist of it. Funny how he almost always has those tangential circles spoken about how great he is. It’s not a Trump speech without it.
I don’t think people understand the seriousness of this at all. Due to the sheer size, power and influence of the USA, this is currently the most dangerous man alive. He claims he is doing it for the money. Any money that is made now will be spent in the coming decades in a desperate attempt to halt climate change, when we should have made efforts to prevent it instead. And when this world crumbles, what will the value of money be? The cost of taking action against climate change now would save us an astonishing amount of money in the future. Any businessman would understand this, but Trump isn’t even that, even if he claims to be. Due to his incompetency and ignorance of the climate crisis, he is putting us all up for execution, and somehow he is still a president. Any person with half a brain would question how the hell this is even possible. As a world leader, he is supposed to protect us, instead he is killing us.
Trump wants a clean environment AND fracking to continue? Can’t have both. Why are there so many toxic chemicals in our groundwater? Cheney made the fracking process exempt from several environmental laws: “There are many exemptions for hydraulic fracturing under United States federal law: the oil and gas industries are exempt or excluded from several of the major federal environmental laws. These laws range from protecting clean water and air, to preventing the release of toxic substances and chemicals into the environment.” Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, Safe Drinking Water Act, National Environmental Policy Act, Resource Conservation and Recovery Act, Emergency Planning and Community Right-to-Know Act, and the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act, commonly known as Superfund.
He cares about people more then the environment sounds pretty dam good, even if you don’t like him i’m sure you can praise him for speaking his mind rather then letting the men in black suits do that for him. Its hard to pay of a multi billionaire in corruption, its easy to manipulate a man who wonders of midway through a speech.
I like the answer. He did not discuss all of the environmental aspects back and forth because that’s what people expect… he simply get straight to the point which is the biggest power of the US. Today we can see how much all of these beautiful words of European leaders are worth when the war happens and there’s no gas from Russia. And how much of problems it created for Europe to be very environmental, yet very dependent on this gas. It was all the business, my friends. Like it or not, Trump knows the game of politics, and on top of that as a president wanted the best for the country. He could because of the wealth he had long before the presidency.
Clean air, clean water. Windmills don’t work, not going to loss our wealth on dreams. We are putting up new pipes that we couldn’t before. We are now produce the most energy. We have more oil and gas.We have more wealth than ever before. This is what got me” we can now help a lot more people because of our wealth”. Destroy the environments because we will have enough money to help after.
He’s samewhat right you know. We cant really do much about global warming, because People are not willing to change their habits, and consumption is the biggest killer here. Windmills doesnt work as great as we want them to, the main problem being, we cant store the excessive energy produced by night. Look at what happened in germany. They switched to Windmills, and because they couldnt store the energy, they had to fire up the old choal plants by Day, because it wasnt enough, so now they have more expensive energy, and The same, if not more, co2 emission. Even if they did work, we would still consume so much material, plastic, oil(for cars, which People Will never stop driving ), raw materials etc, that the global co2 emission would keep on course. Its by far the biggest problem in Poor countries, where People simply cant afford to be climate aware, because their main goal is survival. Some studies suggest that the real solution to global warming, would be investing in the global economy, and giving more people the change to live a more clean climate aware life. Imagine if one of the scientist with the actual solution to the global crisis, was stuck some where in a mud hole, unable to educate his/hers mind, due to lack of schools, books, proper professors etc. So generating wealth, with a clean environment(air, water etc), maybe isnt as stupid as it sounds
America picked a business man as a leader with good intentions to succeed from a monetary perspective. He might do that well but don’t expect any one person to fix every problem. This guy is solely about money, nothing else. I believe he’s made that very clear many times. This was just another perfect example.
What about climate change I’m richer not worrying about such things. Trump totally skipped the question but he loves clean water. The USA 🇺🇸 and China are the very worst when it comes to climate change. Vote blue for Bieden and all democrats right down the line to get our country together and keep moving forward 👍
The Guidestones’ funders wanted to make “a moralistic appeal” to humanity, according to the trade group, and etched 10 guiding principles onto the stones. The multilingual manual for humanity has been a popular spot for visitors over the past four decades. The instructions, repeated in eight languages on the four upright slabs, are largely uncontroversial. They urge humanity to protect nature and care for fellow citizens. But two entries raised eyebrows: They called for the world’s population to be capped at 500 million and encouraged reproduction to improve “fitness and diversity.” (There were some 4 billion humans alive in the late 1970s.) Scientists discover the origin of Stonehenge stones — quarries 180 miles away Right-wing conspiracy theorists such as Infowars founder Alex Jones have seized on the edicts as proof of a nefarious globalist scheme. In a 2008 documentary, he pointed to the granite slabs as evidence that global elites were plotting to enslave most of the world. During the coronavirus pandemic, misinformation circulated that linked the emergence of the virus to the Guidestones.
So Donald went to College. Really! Warton School, Pennsylvania. So why does a guy from NYC go to PA? That like when your teenage daughter get’s knocked UP and has to finish school at her Grandparent’s. Maybe Donald “Knew” someone there? I understand that the Coaches at Penn State Football had quite a side business going. What was that guys name? Jerry Sandusky? 52 counts of child molestation. So maybe that is the connection to Epstein. You know people who know people. That is how things get done and get covered up.
Donald starts every press conference now. He answers the first question with a question. And the Question is; “How many people want to be me?” and he follow up with a second question, “And why would anyone want to be themselves after seeing me?”. Donald would continue before anyone could shake the blank stare from their faces, “I do know of one person that does not want to be me. Nancy Pelosi. But hey, who would want to be her? I mean I sort of feel a little sorry for her, don’t you? I even send her a Christmas Card. It’s a get well card. It reads, “Sorry to hear that you are still yourself. It must be tough living your life. I would definitely try to improve myself if I were you. But you got to make due with what God gave you, Right?” By that point, the Press has left the room, and pretty much wrote whatever they liked about the conference that day. No one really thinks that there is any real truth or facts to any of Donald’s shout out’s, anyway. Probably how the Fake News got started. How can you quote Insanity?
National Academy of Sciences/ IPCC joint statement of policy recommendations. Collective action to control Earth’s climate and biosphere: 1. Decarbonization of the economy. 2. Governmental direction of technological innovations. 3. Global human behavioral adaptation. 4. Transformation of social values. 5. New governance implementation structures.
its not about cleaner air, cleaner water, cleaner environment. its about breathable air, livable water, habitable environment. we chose money over our lives on earth. just 3 degrees hotter, its not polar bears we should be worried about. we all lived for money and now we will all die for money. simple as that
This is my only beef with Trump, insulting windfarms and solar renewal energy for financial gain. It’s clear his money is tied up in oil. Well this will be his downfall. You cannot suppress renewable energy forever and let hope they shut down that pipeline when Trump leaves office. He needs to wake up and help the environment before it’s too late
Donald was once asked why there were so few Black Quarterback’s in football. And this is how he explained it. Don said, “The reason there are only white guys playing Quarterback is because they like to throw the ball. Black guys, you give them anything, and they shove it under their shirt and head for the exits. That why they make such good ball carriers. They never drop the ball just like they always make it out of the store with two steaks and a carton of cigarettes tucked in their waistband. They just will never let go. So how is that going to work as Quarterback? They would never hand off or pass! Every GD play they would take the ball and run for the exits. And if you really want them to run, just turn on the blue flashing lights and a siren. Man, like throwing blood in the water. So I have a question for you. Why do you think so many people wish they were me?”
I think he overestimates the intelligence of the people that will be perusal his responses, and feels like he shouldn’t have to spell things out, and says things in a way that will not offend the easily offended. What he’s saying is… We are doing so well, we have the wealth to keep our people healthy, alive, and living well. Why spend all that wealth on something that we don’t even know if it will make a difference?
Lots of criticisms here from people that didn’t understand his simple answer. I will help you. The US is now a net EXPORTER of oil and natural gas and sitting on a mountain of wealth. Trump doesn’t want to sacrifice that vast wealth for “dreams and windmills” meaning there is no current alternative to fossil fuels (I’d argue that nuclear energy is a fantastic green alternative but Trump didn’t mention that). Also he hints at the fact that Europe (focused on climate change the most) is purchasing oil and LNG from the US. Did that help?
When I was growing up in Indiana, I had a cat and a dog. My Mom, she named both of them Mike. So when anything went wrong, got broken, or just she needed to vent, it was Mike! Mike did this, that! I never knew if she was talking to me or to the cat. I don’t think my Mom knew the difference? And I had a sister once too. I don’t think she was named Mike though. I can’t remember her name, because she was 24 years older than me and left home as soon as she could. I think she met a guy and they moved to Oregon. So life was pretty simple there in Indiana. Just Mom and me and Mike the dog and Mike the cat.
Not a fan of Trump, but he’s got one point here. If we want to save the environment it’ll have to be economically beneficial, or it won’t happen. Expecting companies and people to give up cheap electricity is unrealistic, what we need to focus on doing is getting alternative energy to be much cheaper than fossil fuels, at that point switching to low-carbon energy will be a no-brainer for money driven companies and nations.
I understand the wealth of USA is crucial to it’s sovereignty and to world order as well as improving the lives of many. But I believe his stance on climate is improvable. Change is happening with or without Trump’s acknowledgment. It would be preferable if USA at least tried to make steps in the right direction. The economy of Petrol does not necessary mean you need to push to burning as much as possible, the energy provided by the fuel could be used to produce energy saving materials and be part of an industry for producing renewable energy. In his place, i would support companies able to convert fuel into carbon emission savings and Possibly organise a Manhattan project style of R&D towards finding solutions (in terms of budget and manpower, not secrecy), rather than ignoring the problems.
Very strong disagreement with the President here. I respect his position, his office and the sacrifices he’s made, but we can’t keep pushing more toxic fumes into our earth’s atmosphere. I really hope someone of his stature and passion like him steps up to the plate again and is ACTUALLY an environmentalists and does not claim just they are one. Unfortunately, they just all give into the establishment…
You know sometimes I sit down and think why were we given this planet? All we’ve done for this planet is hurt it. We could have formed on some shitty planet but instead we were given Mother Earth. What have we done for her? She’s given us a home and life on an amazing planet. What have we given her in return? Cutting down trees for space? Burning down our rain forests for space? Honestly if we go extinct some of us deserve it. Hopefully if another species of humans form on the planet, i hope they do a better job then us. I honestly feel like it’s too late. We’ve lost. It’s a little bit late to make change but we can start over. I doubt we’ll start doing something to stop climate change. The U.S which is where I live has a president that doesn’t believe in climate change. Unfortunately this is the world we’ve made. We’ve dug a hole that we can’t get out of. But if we work together as a species we can save our planet, our race. We can do it hopefully you read the whole thing it’s been on my mind for awhile.
Classic demonstration of a biological conundrum. If you boil water, and drop a frog into the water, it will jump out. But if you put the frog in the water, at room temperature, then slowly add heat, gradually more and more heat. and the frog will become President and deny that the water is boiling. So we can blame Climate Change on Meteorologist Heather Tesch of the Weather website. Seems Donald has been perusal her on the Oval Office TV when no one is perusal. I think he has a thing for Heather. Any way because he only can watch her a little at a time, he is not getting properly warmed up rapidly to be alarmed by Climate Change. See? Science is fun!
I respect this mans knowledge about economy, and I also think he answered the question by saying what he finds important – money and wealth. Sure BUT, What Trump needs to understand is that he is the leader of the WORLD not just america. Maybe USA does not have pollution yet (I don’t know never been there) but other countries are suffering, like india, china, countries without clean drinking water (even in wealthy countries like germany). it is crazy if you think about how many countries that has polluted drinking water. It is simple physics to understand that pollution is real. We cannot produce more materia than we can afford, the technology, the nuclear powers we are dumping on earth will not dissapear because it is not natural, plast is not natural and we are just producing more. The earth is an eco system that needs to be in balance, like the human body, Our bodies depend on balanced enviroment. And we are just producing more and more. Everything we throw away have to open up the question of ”where is this going?” I really don’t want to sound like a hippie and I don’t hate trump, I am just worried that people don’t understand nature science. We have the science we just need to put our minds together and think about creative solutions. Planting trees recycle nuclear power Produce technology that is sustainable education about agriculture enviromental electric cars built from the cars that already exists Ocean cleaning sollutions (I am just brainstorming)
Well everyone it was nice, knowing you guys. Because i am going to be homeless when the water comes and destroyes my house. It really hurts to see someone not caring about a other people, just because of money. I hope you guys will help the people that are going to be homeless atleast have a heart even tho you guys don’t give a fuck, about our planet.
I’d like to see all the CC alarmists in the comments go without oil and coal in their lives, even for a year. Now that would be interesting. They should try it and someone, using oil and coal technology, can do a documentary hosted by David Attenborough, who can also join in the non oil and coal way of life. That really would be an interesting doco.
