  • Raw milk is an excellent fertilizer..u can add 5 to 7 tbsp of raw milk to a round half litre water occassionally.. Wenever u clip the plant due to overgroth u can sow the clipped plant in another pot..even a leaf produces more money plant.. Sunlight necessarily is not required for the plant..u can keep in a cool open space too for healthy growth..

  • Hi madam. Ur such an inspiration for me to grow plants. I had started terrace gardening. Pothos is not showing any improvement. Now I m propogating in water. U had said frequently we should change the water. How frequently one should change the water. Is it every alternative days. It will be of great help if u guide me in it

  • Your articles are really cool to watch but here is my suggestion which I think is a better way to do this rather than cutting the plant dig a small hole in the pot itself and put the aerial roots in the pot itself when the aerial roots get into the soil completely then cut the plant such that it will save a lot of time for propagating which takes 1/4th of the time than normal ones. It worked really well for me I hope same works for you too :). Happy gardening.

  • I just realized my big beautiful marble queen pothos has root rot and I’m so sad. I removed all the vines and stems and cut them into clippings to propogate. I have some questions: 1) a couple little bunches have some healthy looking leaves that connect down low very close to the root and the root looks healthy also. Can i wash the roots and repot them directly into soil or are the roots most likely already contaminated? 2) can i repot all the clippings into one pot after they have grown roots? Thanks!

  • Hi Mam, I have one doubt, really thankful if u reply. Here in this article u suggested to use only tap water directly so taht plant gets nutrients. But in other article u suggest to stand the tap water for around a day b4 using into plants, to get rid off harmful chemicals like chlorine etc. Will this not harm in money plant case here? Pls explain. N thanks for these lovely informative articles.

  • I bought, money plant and Daisy for my cabin. Unfortunately Daisy died 😣 and money plant which I had placed in water bottle growing pretty well. But I have constant fear that I may kill this one too. It’s growing and the leaves are in pale condition. Would you mind suggesting few tips to take care of it. And what went wrong with Daisy? Is ceiling fan air is bad for plants?

  • Well done! My only question is where to cut the pothos stems when pruning? Does it matter where we make the cuts? Can we plant the cuttings in the soil of the same plant we just cut from? Thanks so much im so excited to get a pothos to hang near my front window. I love sitting there in the morning with my coffee and journal while my kids run crazy around me lol 🥰

  • Hello, My money plant is getting new leaves in a glass water bottle so basically I see it growing. This is placed inside house near the entrance door where it gets medium light, no direct sun light. New leaves are growing but problem is with existing leaves that started turning yellow since last week. Pls note that plant is potted in a glass water bottle and I change water frequently. Use tap water only. Now with yellow leaves seems like plant is not getting enough nutrition. Pls suggest what shall I do..1. plant it in soil ? But I read that pothos that grow in water may die if replanted in soil, not sure or shall I place this in sun light ? How do I save my plant? Thanks

  • can you please help me. I made the mistake of reporting my Pothos in a pot tht was about 2-3 times bigger than the nursery pot. I didn’t grow at all over the months. And this early spring, I decided to repot it with new soil thinking it would appreciate new soil, but still in the large pot. Since it’s spring I think it grew just a bit but not much considering it probably has a really good root system bc of extra soil. Should I repot it again in a smaller pot so the growth is affected in the stems and leaves rather than the roots. I can’t find direct information online on what to do. So maybe you know?

  • Dear ma’am, my marble queen money plant is developing brown patches on it’s leaves and on tips. My other varieties of money plant are doing good. I water them when soil feels dry, keep them in bright light and not direct sunlight. Why are the leaves getting brown and what to do?? (Temperature here in Ahmedabad are very high)

  • Hi ekta ur articles are really helpful . My money plants are growing well, can we use the seaweed fertilizer that u had suggested in one of ur articles for money plants also? And though the leaves of my money plants are mostly big and healthy some of them have holes ( looks like they have been eaten by bugs ) but then when I inspect closely there are no bugs. how can it be sorted. TIA

  • 3 4 weeks ago i started growing money plant completely in water, they formed very few roots like 1 or 2.. eventually the down part of the cuttings are turning yellow and then black..i cut those parts and now its better. But how to grow it healthy and fast, is there any natural manure that we can add to money plant in water ? So that the cuttings dont ripen and it grows fast and healthy? Plz suggest something for this

  • I do have a very very long and bushy money plant but some of the stems are getting very few leaves and 2-3 feet long hanging roots. That too the ratio is of 1 leaf,to 5-6 long roots between each node. This looks very ugly. What should I do? Pl. Note, I do purne the tips on regular basis and also other stems do have more healthy leaves.
