Ways To Cultivate Eucharis Lilies?

The Eucharis lily, also known as the Amazon lily, is a summer-flowering perennial bulb that produces fragrant, daffodil-like white flowers. It has six spreading tepals in two rows, with the outer ones longer and broader. To plant the Eucharis lily, choose a location that receives bright, indirect light and avoid direct sunlight. The best time to plant the bulb is in the spring or fall when temperatures are moderate.

Eucharis lily is a graceful bulb that produces fragrant white flowers in clusters. It is a tropical bulb that produces hosta-like foliage and beautiful white flowers in clusters. However, it is not suitable for outdoor cultivation in the U.S. due to its tropical nature. To stimulate flowering, keep the Amazon lily on the dry side during winter. The bulb can remain undisturbed for many years, blooming better under moist but well-drained, fertile soil or compost. When planting, ensure the top of the bulb sits just above the soil level.
