The Petal Apothecary is a block in Botania that allows players to infuse petals and runes to create generational and functional flowers. To craft a flower, various petals and other ingredients must be thrown into the apothecary when it has water. The first step is to get 16 different Mystical Flowers, which are recommended to have 16 of each type. A dispenser with a water bucket is required to create flowers, and hoppers gather them.
The progression of Botania is simple, starting with a pure daisy and an endoflame using found flowers. Next, create livingrock and livingwood with the pure daisy, and create mana spreaders and a mana pool. The GoG map starts with a water source and some roots to get your first Botania flowers. Water can be picked up in bowls to fill a pedal apothecary without removing the source block.
Glimmering Flowers can be crafted into Floating Flowers, and some functional flowers can be shrinked to their Petite variant by dropping them into the Mana Pool with Alchemy Catalyst. Petite flowers have reduced range and can be made manually by fertilizing a Mystical Flower or a Buried Petal with Bone Meal.
In summary, the Petal Apothecary is a crucial block in Botania, allowing players to create generational and functional flowers by infusing petals and runes.
