In this episode of the Botania mod, we discuss the Runic Altar, a block added by Botania, which is used to craft runes. To create a rune, certain items must be placed onto the altar in any order, either right-clicking it with them or throwing it onto the altar. This tutorial covers the first quick use of the Runic Altar and shows how to make a rune of water for Minecraft 1.19+.
To get mana faster, make more endoflames, plant mystic petals on grass or dirt, and grow them with bonemeal to increase your petal supply. One mana spreader can transfer mana from eight endoflames at a time. The goal was to automate the Runic Altar, make it look good, use Corporea Networks, and make the whole thing as lag-friendly as possible.
The Runic Altar is sometimes slow to craft certain items due to the time it takes to transfer the mana. To complete crafting, right-click or throw a Livingrock on top of the altar, then use the Wand of the Forest. For 20 seconds after crafting, right-clicking the altar will trigger the next set of ingredients and continue the cycle.
In this episode, we explore the Runic Altar, its features, and how to create runes for future flowers and mana production. We also discuss the importance of creating more endoflames to get faster mana transfers.
