How To Increase The Rate Of Plant Growth In Minecraft Command?

To speed up crop and plant growth in Minecraft, you can set the randomTickSpeed command to a high number. However, it is not recommended to set it too high as it can cause issues in the game. The default value is 3, but setting it higher will make plants grow faster, while lower will make them grow slower. Setting it to zero stops plant growth altogether.

To change the random tick speed command, use the command /gamerule randomtickspeed and then change the number higher to have things grow faster. If you ever want to return it to a lower value, use the command /gamerule randomtickspeed.

Crop farming allows players to plant various vegetables and other crops on farmland, which grow over time and can be harvested for food. There are two ways to approach this: 1) simulate more random ticks or 2) let Minecraft handle random ticks and set the random tick speed.

Planting crops in alternate rows (rows separated by bare farmland or a different crop) speeds up growth as well. To adjust the crop growth rate, you can completely recreate the crop growth system and cancel all natural crop growing. This can be done by adding additional growth ticks every time a crop grows.

A tool to easily adapt crops growth rate (wheat, sugarcane, etc.) to any server’s needs can be used to make crops harder (slower) or easier (faster) to grow.
