This tutorial demonstrates how to use force relays and warp lenses in Minecraft Magic mod Botania. Force relays are blocks added by the mod, which can be used to move blocks and connect blocks. When bound to another block using the Wand of the Forest, any Piston force applied to the Force Relay is also applied to the bound block.
To give a lens to a mana spreader, right-click once with the lens at hand. To remove it, either break the mana spreader or right-click it again. The Force Relay is designed to be part of a Botania-based quarry and builds upon previous designs by integrating circuitry into the control mechanism for the purpose of redirecting a Mana pulse fired by a Mana Spreader.
Mana bursts fired with a Warplens spreader will warp on contact with a Force Relay to the block that is bound to said relay. To attach a Warp Mana Lens to the Mana Spreader, verify that the Mana Pool continues to fill. Put a Force Relay block between the spreader and the Stone by right-clicking on each with a Wand of the Forest in Function mode.
Binding the Force Relay to the Stone by right-clicking on each with a Wand of the Forest in Function mode does not seem to make a difference. This video demonstrates an alternative design instead of using one Mana Spreader per tree or block-in-a-row.

I just completed construction on a 3 x 3 elevator using force relays to lower in three blocks and then raise it back up. It uses two three piston extension machines as sticky pistons don’t work on the force relays. It’s really cool looking as the piston machines are kept out of earshot of the elevator. However, I’m having an odd issue that isn’t mentioned in this article. If I’m standing on the elevator as it goes up, I drop right through the blocks. I’ve tried different blocks, and the effect is the same. Can a block being moved by a force relay not push a player?
