Harvest Moon: How To Water A Middle Crop?

In Harvest Moon, players can harvest the middle crop by asking the harvest sprites when it’s ripe. To reach the middle crop, players can use an upgraded watering can with slots and add a red wonderful stone to increase its range. The more optimal way is to have a watering can with three slots (1 blue wonderful, 2 red wonderful) so you can water the entire farm.

To water the middle crop, players must hold down the square button until their character’s face turns red, then release it. Once they get the Golden Watering Can, they can water a 3×3 area by holding the square button down until their character turns red. This allows them to grow a full 3×3 crop and water the middle crop.

The basic mechanics of growing crops involve buying seeds, tilling soil using a hoe, planting seeds, and using a full watering can to water them. After planting the seeds, equip the watering can and necklace with the same color/level, then open the farm map tap with your stylus at the middle crop. The only way to water the crops is to upgrade the watering can to a Golden Watering Can, which can occupy 3×3 square spaces when you hold the square.

This allows players to make rows or columns and water the crops on either side as they pass, giving an advantage in harvest times. Instead of having to water the top and then run around into the middle, players can use the Sprinkler to water them all at once. Once planted, water the crops with a watering can, and if it empties, go next to a pond or river and press B to fill it. Water crops once everyday to prevent seeds from not growing.

In summary, Harvest Moon offers a variety of ways to grow crops, including using an upgraded watering can, harvest sprites, and using the Sprinkler to water crops. By following these steps, players can ensure their crops grow and thrive in the game.

How do you plant by phases of the moon?

Moon-based planting calendars suggest sowing seeds for crops that yield an aboveground harvest when the moon is increasing, while root crops are best planted during the waning moon. However, there is no research that proves moon gardening produces bigger, better yields. The lore and long history of moon gardening are fascinating, and the author enjoys listening to Plummer’s stories of his childhood in the rural hill country of western North Carolina.

Homesteading was a means of survival, and families grew every vegetable they ate and canned enough extra to survive the long mountain winters. The author has never tested these theories in their own garden or found proof that moon gardening produces bigger, better yields.

Middle-growing crops can only be harvested by waiting until the end of the season or hiring Harvest Sprites to harvest. Your IP address has been temporarily blocked due to a large number of HTTP requests. Common causes include the latest version of the Opera browser sending multiple invalid requests to servers for every page visited, using the Brave browser or Ghostery add-on, which send extra traffic to servers for every page visited, and using GameFAQs regularly with these browsers can cause temporary or permanent IP blocks.

Some unofficial phone apps may also use GameFAQs as a back-end, triggering anti-spambot measures to prevent automated systems from flooding the site with traffic. Continued use of these apps may cause IP block indefinitely.

There is no official GameFAQs app, and there is no contact with the makers of these unofficial apps. Using scripts or add-ons that scan GameFAQs for box and screen images, running a “scraper” or “downloader” program, using poorly configured browser add-ons for blocking content, or overusing the search engine with large searches in a short amount of time can also cause IP blockage. If you promise to stop, your connection will be unblocked for now, but re-blocked if additional bad behavior is detected.

When planting a solid 9-square, you cannot reach the center square with the watering can until the vegetables are harvested on the perimeter. If you have the gold watering can, wait until the veggies are harvested on the perimeter before watering the remaining plant. Rain will help, and the center plant may only need a couple of days of extra watering. If you have limited space or lack rain, use “notching” to produce the most convenient yield. This involves leaving one outside space of the 9-square untilled, leaving a notch for watering.

This is effective for single-yield crops, but multiple-yield crops may suffer from being one less during the remainder of their yields. If you have the gold watering can, you can use the scythe to carve your way in to water the center during the first harvest.

  • My farming money tips: get some chickens and harvest their eggs. Stock up the eggs and go to the kitchen at make a fried egg to stock for mining. You can buy the fried egg recipe from Hugo. Then try to target at least 5 levels per day in mining and work your way to level 96. So on daily basis, I would just enter level 96 and mine the ores at immediate area near the stairs. Do not waste time digging hidden ores. Once cleared, exit and enter back at 96. You will just stock up a lot of orichalcum, tanzanite, alexandrite, diamonds etc and can be sold at very high price. Do not waste time to refine them with Andy, they will be sold at the same proportion to your refinery cost. On average I could farm 30-50k a day by just doing that. Also, for marriage, you will need to give the token of love (craft from Andy) before you are able to give the blue feather (it was not mentioned in the guide) and the best thing is same sex marriage is possible in this game.

  • Mind if I ask another question? Is there any benefit to applying fertilizer more than once to the same crop? I don’t mean on the same day but once a day until the crop matures or do we only need to apply it the first day when planting the crop to begin with to receive maximum benefit from the basic fertilizer type? Or does applying it each day give better benefit doing so? If there is no additional benefit other than applying it only the one time, if we don’t apply fertilizer the first day, does applying it on the second day work just as well as if we had applied it the first day?

  • Are their skills that we raise in the game by doing them each day? Like farming, where if we raise tilling, we can till more than one tile at a time, or watering, where we can water more than one tile at a time if we raise each certain skill? Or is this only done by obtaining each upgraded farm tool? If by upgraded farm tools, how do we get the upgraded farm tools to appear in the store?
