The chemistry and bond of the cast were really the main reasons that made me pull through until the end. So much happened on and off screen over the years. We watched Aidan grow up from a wee little boy to a young man, David and Ritu dating, Tom and his wife having children, Elliot transitioning…. they went through some of the biggest life events together. I will miss this cast so much!
I will miss this series a lot, it was the best and I watched it in full. I love this series a lot, it is the best. The Umbrella Academy changed my life and now I don’t know what to do without it. I actually feel like every character was failed in the final season. It also just felt so disjointed and odd. It seemed like two seasons worth of content was written and they just cut chunks out without a good rewrite. It made it make less sense and left you feeling like whole scenes and storylines were gone with just remnants remaining. Like, how the girl end up in a squid mentioning the Cleanse and how Five had left a notebook telling himself how to get through the subway when it appeared he couldn’t time travel anymore. Characters were under utilised and didn’t spend much time together as a team. It didn’t feel like the same show. It definitely needed more than 6 episodes and writing changes. I’m sure there was some way they could’ve done it decent enough justice in 6 episodes but 10 would’ve been better or 2 seasons.
I finished it! First of all, it was very good, I was a little sad because it ended, I was perusal it with great pleasure, but even though it was a fiction, I always think that the T.U.A team is somewhere protecting us, I believe so. I’m a little sad that it’s over, but I think I’ll always watch it over and over again 😅. So I’m very happy. Season 4 was great and the last part was very emotional. There were people we saw in other seasons and the last one was The photos were very emotional and beautiful, I saved them all one by one and this is what I will keep as a memory, we love the T.U.A team so much💙🖤💗💖
ahh i’m so gonna miss this cast!😭 i mean this season is bad, like really really bad – so many plot holes and i wish they’ve done more with klaus’ plot and im also pissed at how it ends ahahah but at least we get to see ‘the end’ of everything. literally😭 but thanks for the amazing work all these years guys!!
GAWD I HATE THIS… I don’t know why I connected to these characters a few years back. These wonderful actors brought a humanity, humor, sincerity, emotional intelligence and believability to what began as comic book characters. Seeing it end… hurts. Like an emotional gut punch. As a metaphor it’s a powerful lesson: make the most of now and treasure the gift of others. I do not know these talented people nor the army of behind the scenes individuals who brought this to life. Suffice I am truly grateful for your lives and the gifts of your talents. Ten thousand years of happiness to all.
Netflix gave Lucifer, 13 Reasons Why, Good Girls, Dead to Me, Locke and Key, Van Helsing, even Riverdale for fuck sakes a better more satisfying ending then The Umbrella Academy did. I cant even express how disappointing and dissatisfing the Last Season is. I was proud of Netflix for giving us a final season. But it is NOT the final season we wanted or even needed. Theres so much they couldve done with the last season but they chose what they did and it was a Bad Choice!! Damn you Netflix.
The ending is perfect for me. The Old Five already said to don’t save the world and this was already it. Sure, there were loopholes and most of us were hoping for more episodes, but I loved s4. Thanks to Five too for finally figuring out how to save the world, I will really miss seeing him get all cranky because of his family lol.

I like to think that after they died they met up in some sort of afterlife, kinda like how Klaus always used to go to a sort of limbo/void place when he died, but make it bigger and an entirely different world! And right now they’re all just relaxing, adventuring, and spending their time together as a family 🙂 Oh and maybe their perusal all of us Brellies suffer and cry over their deaths and the end of their show, that’d be funny for them to see lmao Edit: I’m coping rn, let me have this ;–;
The way I started sobbing when they showed their family living in the normal timeline 😭. I’m so happy we got to see them react to this it was a very bittersweet experience. This show ending felt like losing a best friend. I remember this first came out when I was in 8th grade and then I watched it during covid. Then it continued throught my highschool journey and now the ending comes summer 2024 the summer I graduated highschool and going on to university 😢. This show truly means so much to me 💜.
Cried when I initially watched the last episode of the last season and cried again perusal them watch it 😣 I feel comfort in that their characters all attained some version of what they wanted most and/or never had in any of the timelines before sacrificing themselves whilst truly appreciating what they had.. finally.
I truly truly wish and hope with all my heart the producers see and accept all the criticisms online from this final season, and greenlight a do-over. Im not sure if any show has ever done that, but seriously, lets bring this cast together one more time and make a proper season 4, please? Keep the original season 4 on Netflix with the subtitle (the bad timeline) or something like that, and do it right. These characters deserve better. The cast deserves better. Gerard deserves better. And the fans deserve better. This is one of my favorite shows, they can save it! Please.
Damn 1984 in the comments. Im really disapointed. The finale didnt feel like a finale and so many different questions remain unawnsered. Unlike others I wouldnt have a problem with the ending if it made sense, was explained and resolved a lot of the questions. Like why was jennifer in that Squid? Why the marigold? Whats with the other ~30 kids with marigold? They werent eaten by bennifer? Also why did they have to assasinate every character here. Like diego and luther were absolut morons, much moreso than before, Five wouldve never did that to diego (he literally risked everything multiple times just to save the family), Alison complaining about being the villian when she literally sexually assaulted luther, killed harlan, and did so much other shit. Just disapointing
I loved being able to follow the series all these years, you were a perfect cast 10/10. I’m just sad that the characters didn’t have a dignified last season, although the outcome of the series was perfect.. but her script was a disappointment, even so all of you delivered everything and that’s what made me happy despite everything.. Them being reborn as Marigold flowers because in Metaphysics energy is believed to never truly die was a beautiful send off! I am still confused about their off spring still being able to live though because thats a very specific bloodline of genes but 🤷🏽♀️ beautiful nonetheless! I’m sad it over! I’ll miss them! Especially my favorite characters Klaus & FIVE!
It was sad that they sacrifice themselves, i saw how they were getting emotional because of the final episode and it is really sad, the way how the world was ending i immediately teared up and even my sister did, but I really look liked all the seasons and all the actors they were truly my favorite, I will never forget them, I’ll always remember every single episode, but the ending of that episode was very joy of how everybody is all fine in the original time, but I’m glad the Hargreeves save the world, they sacrifice themselves for the people they loved.❤
I actually wasn’t a huge fan of the show, I watched it mostly as background noise, but the actors were amazing together and it is a little sad knowing they won’t see eachother as much as they did when they worked on the show together. I hope to see more of Aidan and Robert, absolutely loved their work.
This season was odd bc it wasn’t like the issue was that it was “terribly written” it just that the writers chose every story path its audience would absolutely hate. That in itself is not a “bad” choice but definitely a choice. We as fans wanted to see the hargreeves succeed and get their happy endings; however, every one of them got the absolute worst ending imaginable and then erased from existence. Wow. What a season.
While I’m sad about the ending, I understand why it had to be done. Sometimes you just can’t run away from things. Eventually it’ll catch up to you. They tried so hard just to fix everything, from jumping between timelines, to trying to live a normal life. But wherever they went, it would just pop right back up in any shape or form. As sad as it is, this was necessary.
I want a season 5, season 4 was not doing the show any justice till the end. I honestly felt the last season was so rushed, the plot holes aplenty and the storyline was not as engaging or interesting as the s1-3! They deserve a better ending and also a more fleshed out last season. This only had 6 episodes and we didn’t see their stories tied up in a good way. I don’t know, s1-3 were incredible and so wonderfully written, season 4 just fell flat to me. I miss the writing and heart from s1-3. sigh. Please bring them back for season 5 with more episodes and a better ending for our lovely band of misfit siblings.
That ending will always make this incredible loved family/cast/series a little bit bitter. I Get it they have the chance to finish it, unlikely other series, but I don’t know men…it’s so messed up… I was sitting there and I was like: that’s it? And how and why!? I missed lot of thing, and i dont get a lot of things…for example Sloane!? Where did she disappeared? Sooooo…I will miss them, I loved them, but THEY EARNED A BETTER ENDING!
