Ok this is something I have been working on. Have you guys seen the man who melts all kind of things rocks and metals using the rear screen from an old rear projector tv. He made a frame and used to focus sunlight, like all of us did with a magnifying glass when we were children. This set a light bulb moment, obviously they didn’t have rear projector tv but they did have crystals and crystals were something they had access to and used. I have been able to melt rock using crystal and the sun. I am not able to cut anything accurately but it works. If this interests anyone let me know and I can give you more information. you can also tell how they scooped our the rock once it was melted …it was probably a process that needed to be done quickly, bit by bit .. when you look at the key carving you mentioned you can see the individual scoops they took from the stone …which means they probably had to used a concentrated heat on that stone in a smaller spot bit by bit ….heat scoop, heat scoop ..I imagine the stone when heated to that point was like mud but would quickly harden as it cooled

Excellent article. The enigma of the blue obsidian on the stones deserves some XRay fluoresce analysis. The blue color of the melted obsidian (a glass silicate) could arise from a copper silicate. Isn’t that suggesting you they used some natural CuFeS2 ore during the thermal process? SiO2 (obsidian) is not so difficult to melt.
Maybe it wasn’t melted. There is a clay in England that was discovered that had insect dropping in it that had turned the clay into stone. During regular daily excavation of the clay the clay stayed soft. When the crew/s stopped for winter to return in the spring they expected to resume work but they found that the clay had hardened into stone. The discovery was the now exposed clay had been infested by some form of insect and through the insect droppings the clay was hardened. Apparently the chemicals in the insect droppings were a catalyst that caused the clay to harden just like rock. I seems to me the article was posted about 8 years ago. I wouldn’t know where to find it.

Dating stone is pretty difficult and using other methods assumes the stones were placed/worked at that same time instead of being discovered or re-used.
I was going to say the stones were rubbed (lapped) together with an abrasive paste. But that doesn’t explain the rounded foundation at start of article. The surface obsidian suggests the stones were heated and dropped into place while hot and soft. We’re they perhaps roughly cut to fit, then placed over a fire until the surface softened. This would deliver a tight fit when lifted into place.
Sakrete! They filled cloth sacks with their geopolymer mix and braced the outside to form the shape they wanted. The glaze on the outside is easily attained today by using smooth plastic sacks. I would think the same glazing can be achieved by oiling/greasing the sacks smooth before pouring them with the geopolymer.
As I am an artist, I have been working with cement, /concrete lately. Then I began to wonder….. what if monolithic stones were created by melting or making a more sophisticated concrete structures. That weighted string is not called a scribe. It’s called a plumb bob or plummet. It’s used today in construction to find a vertical reference sometimes in conjunction with a spirit level to insure there aren’t any bows or bend in a vertical surface. A scientific team from Europe years ago had already understood about those perfect fot stones. And these kind of walls can be found EVERYWHERE on this planet !!! Like usual nobody talks about that scientific team. They analized samples from that wall. It was melted and something was added probably to strengthen the stone. In Japan where there’s a giant wall. At the left side it shows an unfinished cemented wall.
Now explain how it was done in granite in other sites, that are just as precise. If the granite was ever pulverised, it would be obvious under a microscope. If it were melted, then it would solidify into obsidian/volcanic glass. These rocks are not geopolymer, they were precisely cut. However, I don’t dismiss the possibility that limestone based rocks (including marble) could have been dissolved by different means, both known and unknown. They dissolve in acid easily enough.
Your theory is a fact… ancient people, used melted rocks and sands, and used molding patterns to form stone blocks. How they carried the stones and stock them on top of one another? There’s already been a study done on the composition of the polygonal walls. The larger stones at the base were part natural limestone but with a conglomerate coating. The smaller ones above were completely unnatural in composition. The processes involved are unknown but the ancients obviously had a system where they could shape the soft limestone concrete and put it into place. As the geology is now known it’d be facinating to see some experiments figuring out how they did it. My guess is they did it much like you would treat clay when making pots. As it dries you are able to manipulate it in different ways.. For instance, if they covered the surface of a block below with a soft mix they could put a harder one above and it would create a perfect join. Then repeat the process as they put the next layer into place. They did this study with a view to preserve the sites from erosion but if they did a further study with a view to recreating the walls I’m sure they could figure it out…
There are reports and articles bringing up the concept of resonance have being been used to cut and even soften rock material and some even report that resonance could have helped transport some of the ancient blocks. To me this is more proof of a technologically advanced civilization lost in time. All of the stone megaliths were built to last thousands of years. It takes a civilization thinking it would last forever to invest the labor, materials and other resources to this extent. Even today we don’t build anything to last for such a long period.
Fact: We do not know, how these stone blocks were cut, transported and finished! We do have ideas, but we do not want to believe any high technology, as it was 60,000 years ago (Baalbek, Pyramid bases and so on). For me it looks like, they had a method for cutting both stone blocks at their contact area at once, to fit them so tight. The same as perfectly cutting two velours carpets, when reaching at a doorway. The question is left: How and why did they know this high technology over the world? Who teached them with that?
Amazing how everyone talks about how the stones were put together but no one ever asks the most basic question. What shoes were these builders wearing? Sandals? Barefoot? Why isn’t there any records of multiple injuries among workers who are working with tons of stone? That never seems to be questioned.
Could the material on the outside of the stones be a release agent applied to the mold that gets melted onto the surface? If you bake a cake, you coat the cake pan with flour and oil to keep it from sticking to the mold or fiberglass boat hulls use a resin gel coat to keep it from sticking. If the molds were coated with a type of mineral clay compound and molten rock was poured in it would melt the minerals in the clay. This is just a thought. I wonder if that coating is on all sides of the rocks as one side would not have it if this was the case.

I personally like the idea of pouring material into a form or mold. This would allow polygonal shaped objects that fit precisely. The Romans had concrete which is still around today. It might be instructive if you could find a random layer making it a slurry of plastic nature stone that was applied. If all in the same direction, then it is very old and the earth put it that way. The serpent hole appears to be mire of a mistake . Maybe the stones in the big walls with the nub hump bumps are made by pumping in melted high pressure lava gas tha is cool because of flowing after release from a pressurized state on the intake end of a delivery system used to 3D print the big stones . It is not continuous because the intake end has to be moved like a straw would be in a cup at the end of a ice cream shake . The nub bumos are like when a weld bead stops or a 3D printer bead stops .

My theory is a lot more simplistic. They used lenses made from clear types of stones which could be mistaken for jewelry but had purpose. Thus the sun god reference. It could have been a mistranslation of a worker of the sun who holds his spear in place while someone would build by working the softened stone. It’s also important to note that the air quality was different than now back then giving that point of cutting with the light beam from the sun a boost from the natural oxygen levels being slightly higher where ancient fires burned hotter. You can get around 3000 degrees Fahrenheit from a magnifying glass or fresnel lens today. It’s a simple enough principle even for ancient civilizations. If the stone is worked with tools while it’s still hot. You could take pieces off more easily and accurately. A cold metal on extreme heat would not necessarily melt on contact. In fact blacksmiths still use the thermodynamic principles of this method to shape metal. Why not stone? Modern science uses the sun to manipulate and manufacture hard to make materials using giant lenses and mirrors as well.
I think this is done (the pillow type stones) with sound and vibration. If fire can be extinguished by a certain tone/vibration, then stone molecules could be agitated and shaped. As soon as the vibration was stopped, it would cease to move. The nobs could be where the stone softening instrument was placed on the rock and as it was withdrawn away, a nob formed?
What if there was a way to build the large megalithic rock walls in Peru, Egypt, Siberia, Malta and anywhere else.. without the massive “lifting, transportation and carving”, or melting*, as is always mentioned * how could one do it? ~perhaps by using leather or / and wood forms and pour or “cast” the powdered rock* with a catalyst to harden it…once the rock has hardened, then place 2 more on either side using the one side of the rock you already made to be the side each of the new rocks. .and you won’t be able to get a piece of paper between them*..as the next rock form’s are hardened..more can be added to form more sides and on top..no mess..no carving except minor final cleanup..and no transportation from miles away..notice the rocks in Peru are all the same type and colour consistency. .kind of like cement* in a way..the knob on the sides of some stones may be from a support holding the leather form or the wood brace on the rock until it hardened..leaving some imprint behind..as well, at this stage, making them interlocking! ..just some thoughts! p.s. if near a river..building a water wheel will enable you to crush rocks to powder…but there was also a tremendous amount of crushed rock available from mining which makes it manageable to move in sacks or, with the use of a water wheel..a conveyor belt could move a lot of sacks ☆☆☆
Why do I get the gut feeling that they were using some kind of laser. That would explain the “drill” holes. Perhaps a very powerfull sun powered laser and then a mirror system to aim it at the rocks. Steel is one of the easier metals to cut with a laser. Or maybe it is some kind of electric tool. The temperature of an electric arc can be from 5000 F to 35000F. Stone melts at 1100F to 2400F. I think we just figured it out. The used an arc cutter of some sorts. The voltage was high enough that it would jump through the rock(which is fairly conductive made due to the iron concentration and is kind of like a big resistor). High voltage can be generated by switching on and off the primary of a step up transformer. You can switch it at a high enough frequency and the arcs you will get will become more straight rather than branching out like lightning. High frequency feels like a burn while low frequency feels like a shock. This can still explain the “drill” holes, they did not wait long enough for the plasma to melt a through hole in the rock. This makes all the accurate polygonal shapes look very possible to make.
I am, like everyone with a brain, amazed by the megalithic stone work in South America. For over fifty years it has perplexed and pleased me. But I’m not buying the geopolymer explanation. While the ancients might have used geopolymer, and those fantastic andesite stones to build their structures, that doesn’t mean that the stones were geopolymers. Anyway, you did not present your argument in a convincing manner. The article was one supposition after another. Granite is formed when volcanic rocks cool very slowly. Obsidian results from rapid heating and cooling of granite. If the ancients melted granite to put in molds, the entire solidified structure should be obsidian, not just pools on exposed surfaces. Surfaces with obsidian could be the result of volcanic eruptions, lava flowing over existing granite. And as others have noted, it would make no sense to make uniquely shaped molds to pour molten granite into. IIRC there are articles where local Indians have demonstrated how the kind of rocks used in the walls can be shaped using nothing more than abrasive rocks and lots of elbow grease.
This stone work was done by advanced civilizations that existed in the very early history of our planet and are long gone. How do you manipulate melted stone? What mould can you use to contain melted stone? Show me ONE mould. How many moulds have they used to make that giant wall you show? That simple tool you show will work only in one dimension or face. You cannot use that method in 3D. I’m a woodworker, carver for 42 years. I’ve tried. I have used CNC machines for a living. Even with those it is very difficult to create perfect adjoining parts. Those machines are huge. Where are they? I don’t understand why title states/talks about stone being melted in times-gone-by as if it’s something never heard of before. Here in Scotland there are numerous examples of vitrified forts. These were built over 2000 years ago and the people who built them were able to achieve temperatures hot enough to melt and fuse stones together, in the process called vitrification.
At 19:00 It looks like they POURED concrete into molds. Obviously, they had a high-strength recipe for concrete. It also looks like the “stones” that are not formed are simply left over slumps of this “concrete”. This bubbled stone with a glossy finish and melted. Everything has been through an intense amount of heat, boiling the surface of the rocks, and by the looks of the area it was devastated by exploding boulders, maybe fiery brimstone range from the skies exploded on impact them burnt and melted everything that it touched, that’s what it looks like to me, but who am I?
There is a process that say a machine shop would use to add steel to a cam shaft so it could be re ground. It involves heating up the cam shaft lobe to around 500 degrees and then the ground steel particles are sprayed onto the lobe with flame. A similar process could add one type of rock to another and then ground to whatever they want. Obviously they did this work easily
What’s even more amazing to me is that certainly this wasn’t their first step in stone shaping and affixing. I imagine generations of these people suffering from earthquakes and trying to figure out how to keep their buildings from shaking apart. The simplest answer is often the correct one. They knew how to harness electricity and knew how to make power tools. They didn’t share the knowledge and didn’t write about it because it would have been considered top secret just as many method’s exist today that are not readily shared like transparent aluminum and many other secret knowledges. Could it be that simple? Isn’t obsidian rich in the lighter elements such as silicon, oxygen, ALUMINUM, sodium, and potassium that can be easily crushed into powder? It’s literally a notch to help lift or move the stone (unknown material) casts. My theory is the bulge shape you see in the rocks is from whatever material they pour the mix in then shaped to the way we see it now. You could just put plywood between each stone to get that str8 edge. Without thinking dramatic that’s how it’s done. That’s without “technology” no lifting no softening just advance knowledge we don’t know of when it comes to “Cementation”
If we believe all rocks are directly harvested from a quarry we’d also think / believe those were melted once during the build. Who ever and how ever they did it, it must have been very very easy and quick and with very very high technology not permeative tools and techniques. One can work on any small material given the years of time but to make what they have which we see all over the world is just impossible even with current technologies!

I don’t know why we still talk about the Mayan or Aztec people doing any of this megalithic work, I believe they told the Spanish that they only added their shabby work to existing work. I don’t think that there is any other method possible and practical to explain the Hexagonal giant stones of Peru and many other ancient pre-flood locations that are found around the world:: The atomic structure of the hexagonal stones was softened by some unknown physics that we in modern times are not able to duplicate. These softened stone materials, (whether mixed chemically or just utilizing existing stone formations0, were encased in special forms that were open on the bottom to allow the softened stone to settle down against the hardened stones below. High frequency microwave energy was applied from the top of the form to heat and soften the stone. In the cases, where larger sized stone was utilized, different forms were utilized that did not shape all sides of the stone, as in Peru. If these so called ancient geniuses could melt granite, they could also melt iron ore, copper, tin, zinc etc. and could have produced steel structures instead of just piling one stone on top of another. In order to melt granite you need a furnace that can produce 2500 degree temperatures and a vessel to hold the melted liquid, then some method to transport and pour the liquid into a form that can also withstand those temperatures. People who build custom bodies for racing cars use what is known as a body buck, a series of panels in a grid pattern that they form aluminum panels over to create the body shape. You can make a reverse buck ( mold ) over an existing shape and then manipulate your material to fit the mold. There is a material known as Alginate which is derived from brown seaweed which can be used to make molds . Imagine you start with a single cornerstone and then create an alginate mold over its front, top and one side surface. You could then use the mold to chip away the finer details of the fitment on a stone that has already been roughed out to a general shape. It has been shown that using the tools available in neolithic times, a single craftsman could carve out 4 cubic feet of granite or basalt in a single day. An experienced crew of mold makers, rough cutters and finishers could probably cut and fit one or two stones in a couple days, and depending on the number of crews available these walls could be done in a reasonable time.

If the stone was ‘melted’ by heat some of it would not exist. Perhaps this website meant softened or liquified by another process ? This isn’t necessary when time is not relevant. Abrasion using flint for example takes a long time but it’s possible. On Scientists against myths website Olga made a granite ‘bird shaped vase’. It’s not perfect but for a first attempt it’s impressive. The hieroglyph pictogram in Egypt show a stonemason using a flywheel drill to get neat hollowing out of granite vases. I’ve learnt not to underestimate ancestors skills.
Nothing was melted. Sand was placed on top of a stone, and another stone was placed on that sand. Then the top stone was slid back and forth until the sand carved both the top and bottom rocks into matching pieces. More sand would be added by pouring it in from the sides. This is why the side seams are just as clean. It required a lot of labor, which is easy if your civilization is founded on slave labor (which took on many forms in pre-Columbian South America).
It must have been made with gold discs. The sun was sacred for this reason, and the priests used an Archimedes mirror to reflect the heat generated by reflecting the sun to a single point with 100 of these discs. Something funny happened with the ancient megalithic structures. All around the world these massive stone cities have similar design and almost all of them have later additions that don’t fit the original construction and not in a good way, like the builders regressed in their capabilities rather than advanced. You are close. They did not melt it with heat, in my opinion the made its atoms separate then collected them (maybe in a balloon type basin with a valve on the base) then it would float to where they needed it. They would open the valve and release the amount they needed to work with and allowed it to solidify much like wet clay or cement today shaping it before it hardened all the way. This would explain how they got it 20 miles across a river and up a mountain with no road on it. This could also explain the smooth finish and how perfectly they fit.
